Turn left off the main road onto a small dirt road and follow it till you see the large fire pit. The road is good to travel even during rain. Great spot. Cell service and several channels of TV. Some bugs later in the evening and the cows showed up in the morning

Great spot beautiful views of the mountains, quiet area not too many people at least this time of year. Decent cell phone coverage
Report Check-InThere is plenty of boondocking spots in this area, we took a left from the main road and settled at a spot to the left. We liked it as it was away from the noise and busy main dirt road in. Good service with At&t, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Beautiful views of Mt Blanca and a good sunset. Not much to these sites but a good place to lay your head. Filled up just after dark, with majority of everyone leaving early in the morning. Would love to explore farther up the road. Close to hiking and the dunes.
