On the southern side of the bay. There are several tracks leaving the main road. We saw sea otters, sea lions, whales and lots of birds. The sand is hard packed along the tracks. We only saw fisherman, much less crowded than areas in the north.

very calm and quiet night, don't park to close to the water as the tide can rise in the morning.
Report Check-InSuper nice spot on the peppel beach. Lots of seabirds and nice shells. And also a lot of wind 😊
Report Check-InThe road there is pretty rough for a 2wd. Yes windy but better than other spots. Though we were looking all day and very early im the morning we didn't see any animals except some seagulls and other small birds. Still a nice wild camping spot, some cars drove by but no one stopped. Felt very safe & quiet.
Report Check-InSlept on the small cliffs overlooking the beach on the south side. Beautiful spot, definitely windy throughout the evening and night. Diving fishermen come here in the morning to hunt crab.
Report Check-InWe pitched our tent directly beside the “arco” close to the sand rock. Windy place. Spectacular views and wildlife. No facilities.
Report Check-InAwesome wild spot overlooking the beach. Stayed one night and woke up to hundreds of birds on the beach which was awesome. Was somewhat windy but we were able to pop the top on our VW Vanagon with no issues :)
