There is a sign at the turn-off that says entry prohibited for non-authorized vehicles.

Report Check-In

We are here for the 2nd time. Perfect spot after Nazca to acclimate to the higher elevation on the way to Cusco. In January (01/2019) and February (02/20) very foggy(sight 15-20m!), rain, drizzle, 11-13° C. Very poor Claro reception.
Fully agree to the previous post except the sunset

Report Check-In

Awesome wild camp outside of Nazca. Tracks are easily visible now and easy to pass with low clearance. Two flat-ish spots can accommodate multiple vehicles. Incredible sunset over the canyon. Quiet night with no cars, no wind.

great place for the night. very uneven but rocks around. the sunset was amazing. happy trails!

Report Check-In

Good spot. Quiet. Not so flat but some stones are there to level. As this spot is not so used, the tracks on the left from the dirt road are not so visible and have high grass. You can pass with a van.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot. Great views. Quiet. A few cars drove by on the dirt road but stopped by 8 pm.
We picked up some garbage from the firepit. A glass jar ( tomato sauce)doesn’t burn so well.
Please help to keep it unspoiled.

Report Check-In

Very nice camping spot. Feels very remote (although the road is only 500m away) and awesome sunset.

Report Check-In

Beautiful field with long grass. Accessible with most vehicles, 4WD not needed. Just keep an eye open for the bigger rocks, that are sometimes hidden in the grass.
We arrived at 5 in the evening and there was no car driving the road since the morning.

Report Check-In

A decent spot with a sufficient amount of privacy. There is one patch of the main road where other cars can see you from about 500m away. Otherwise we saw no one.

Report Check-In

Good place to stop for the night, before climbing to a higher altitude. Seems safe and is very quite. Some wind though.
