Grassy, level camp at Laguna Juntutuyo. Very quiet, not suitable for swimming, some birds. 1.3kms on a good dirt track from main road

Awesome place with a beautiful view. Accessible with a 2x4 too. After the dirt road, there is an access road on the right to the beach. The road was blocked with a barrier, so it might be private. We parked the car and unload the camping gear on foot. The dirt road continues along the beach so that it is possible to hear cars going to the next village. We only heard 3 cars early in the morning. It was a bit windy and cold during the night. Clear sky for stargazing.
Next morning, the landlord opened the barrier to access the beach to work, he was nice and didn't ask us to pay any compensation.
The last bit of road to the grassy area was blocked by a barrier of wood. We camped on the grassy area. Nice and flat spot with an amazing view and stargazing.
A bit windy in this season. Also, the dirt road continues to others parts of the lake, 4-5 cars passed early in the morning. The land owner opened the barrier in the morning to work on the land, he was very nice and didn't charge us.
Report Check-InLovely campspot. Traffic from main road still audible, but we felt very safe. We’re travelling by bicycle and carried the bikes down to avoid the prickly plants, but it’s fine once you get to the grassy spot. Beautiful views - the stars at night were mind blowing.
Report Check-InQuiet place for sleeping, some friendly locals passing. In case of wind no protection.
Report Check-Invery beautiful and quite.
the lagoon water is a bit dirty to swim but a great place for the night.
Perfect night and big place. Quiet at night. windy at night but perfect in the morning.
Report Check-InLovely spot along the lake. Plenty of level space. We wanted to stop at the canyon 12km South from here but did not like the place. This one is much better!
Report Check-InThis laguna was dried out completely at august, so we continued to the next laguna.
Report Check-InBeautiful place. Laguna-water probably stagnant. Big butterflies falling in love with our blue car. All sorts of prickly survivalplants, with small but spectacular flowers.
