Worth the stop. We tried to did the trail but at this period we had a lot of water on the path and no plastic boots.
Report Check-InPeaceful river and nice trail. Benches on observation deck at end of trail.
Report Check-InFive Finger Rapid is part of the history of the Klondike Gold Rush. The Dawson City visitor center has a video that prominently features historic footage of sternwheeler ships navigating the channel through these rocks. It’s a nice, short and level trail to the cliffs that overlook the channel. Getting to the trail requires descending about 220 wooden steps. It’s also visible from the parking lot’s observation deck.
