Super friendly owner who made his own tree house.
Basic, hand made, tree house 10meters above the ground. Basic facilities. Brought our own cooking gear.
The tree house is a 10min walk from Carlos’ house where you can park (seems save). The. Facilities are basic but there is running water for shower and toilet. Please contact the owner for information to reserve. +50689312451.
The owner is also part of Pacheco tours which offers all kind of tours. I joined the floating tour which was a super experience with Carlos.

AMAZING. Carlos built the 18m platform for enjoying the noises of the jungle and being eye level with the birds.
He describes it as rustic. there is a toilet and rain water shower at ground level. On the platform there is a double mattress with a bug net and two chairs. Nothing fancy but perfect for listening to the jungle. He built it with the intention of staying up to spot wildlife, but it's so hard to stay awake when the jungle sounds like white noise.
We loved it. very cool experience. it was $35usd for the night and worth every penny. You need a 4x4 to get to his house, it's safe to leave your car parked there. Carlos is wonderful also does a floating tour but we didn't have a chance to do it.
