Latest Check-Ins

I stayed a couple of nights. It was good for the price, except I will never get over them pumping loud music late into the night. I expected a church to treat guests better.

Cheap place in Lilongwe to sleep. Nothing fancy but sheets are clean and you can have a nice rest. Dorms ar 6.500 MK, single room 9.750 MK and double 13.000 MK. No restaurant but you are allowed to use the kitchen. No wifi neither.

cheapest place i could find in lilongwe. i took the dorm bed for 6500 mkw. everyone is very nice and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. it is super dirty though. the dorm is full of random stuff lying around, the bathroom also seems to be a storageroom for garbage. there is a serious mosquito infestation and the beds are filthy with equally filthy mosquito nets. the first night i spent 30 minutes to kill all the mosquitos within my net, since there were so many in the room that it way impossible avoid them getting under the net. the second night i was given a spraycan of doom, so i sprayed the whole room, which still didnt kill all the mosquitos, but enough to make them cover the floor and beds. i still ended up staying 3 nights. the people are nice and it is super cheap...

Report Check-In

The place is dirty and run down. We left for Mabuya Camp.

Report Check-In

A great place to stay while in the city. Close enough to big shopping malls and public transport but in an area where you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Very clean rooms with everything you need and a big fully equipped kitchen which is kept spotless throughout the day. Safe and secure parking.
There are different rooms with differrent pricing so we stayed in the double room with en suite for 10000 Malawi Kwacha.
We also enjoyed the wholesome atmosphere which all guests adhered to.

We were allowed to camp in their carpark (behind a gate, with security) in front of the guest house. 2 people in a Merc sprinter campervan, we paid a total of 4000k (about $5.40) but didn't use any facilities other than the parking lot.

I think it may be possible to squeeze a 'small big rig' through the gate but not sure what they'd say about a roof tent (guess there is a loo for the dorm but we haven't seen it).

price is now 6000 for room with 2 single beds and bathroom. Upon arrival I asked if a longer stay was possible, paid for 2 nights on the spot, but possibly stay longer. reception said it was possible. the next morning another person came to tell me I had to leave. check out time at 9 ... that very day althoygh I had already paid for the second night. eventually I could stay the second night but had to leave the next morning before 9. place might have been good some time ago but not so well managed now. rooms I had also quit rundown

Report Check-In
