Stayed from 3 pm till 9 am with no issues, plenty other vans and campers. Don’t overstay your welcome, keep it open for everyone!
Report Check-InStayed here for two nights during the snowstorm this weekend. 24 hour limit so you need to leave during the day but I had no issues. Signs said no camping, I saw people with rooftop tents and even normal camping tents set up in the parking lot. I probably wouldn't recommend that but 100% no issues with vans/'stealth camping'. No bathrooms, full 5G service with Verizon
Report Check-InStayed here just one night before embarking on a backpacking hut trip. We had no problems overnight.
Report Check-InWe slept here for a night and had no problems. Planes were very loud though (probably from NYE crowd leaving)
Report Check-InWe had a great and easy stay here. Parking lot was pretty empty this time a year, just a few rigs in the back where we also parked. Was very quiet at night and nobody even really kept their interior lights on, so we also left ours dark. In the morning we left our van and took the free RFTA to Maroon Bells. It required one RFTA transfer to get to Aspen Highlands, from there we paid for the shuttle ($16 per person round trip).
Report Check-InMany, many other rigs here. Just arrive, pick a parking spot towards the far side. Everyone covered their windows so there were no lights or noises to bother anyone. Great place.
Report Check-InThe parking lot is currently under construction so they have everyone parking in a temporary dirt lot off to the side. Still lots of cars and vans parked overnight. Sign says no camping, max stay 24 hours. Great cell service on Verizon.
Report Check-InGreat, quiet if you get in the back and at night. Great cell signal Tmobile 3 bars. Good to explore, Aspen, Snowmass, Basault..prob Maroon Bells area after April. Some air traffic but not bad. There is a grassy area for tents.
Report Check-Infree parking lot for 24h. tons of vans when we got here, a little noisy at night but not too bad for the amount of people here
Report Check-Instayed two nights here. midweek and there were lots of other campers. some people seemed really set up or maybe living there. very convenient for skiing with frequent shuttles to all the resorts
Report Check-InProbably the best option for overnighting to ski Snowmass. A big parking lot with 24 hr max signs posted. It’s a busy park and ride, especially during ski season, so there is some noise of comings and goings. Also in the flight path of landing craft at Aspen airport. Flat and with great service (4bars 5G T-Mobile).
Report Check-InThree porta poties. We parked here for two days and just tried to be discrete but there’s tons of other campers here. Seems like a popular spot. Most of the campers are parked in the back lot
Report Check-InFree, flat and quiet. Just got plowed in a bit in the back lot with a few other vans.
Report Check-InExactly as described, loads of other vehicles and campers here. Flat surface and not really noisy so perfect for a stop in this town.
