Correction: $13-14 pp is the price of dorms.
Very clean hostel/hotel. Knew the owner, who plays live music at the restaurant every Friday. Dorms run $12 pp. huge, clean, wifi, lots of common areas with full kitchen and pool. Secure off street parking, huge lot but a tight driveway - big rigs possible. Restaurant has the most bomb ceviche in town, and the first pizza we've had all trip (which did not disappoint at all). Plus, they have a great view of the ocean.
This place works well to be near the beach. We rented a private room - very basic, marginally clean. The staff was somewhat helpful, although not overly friendly. They did direct us to a very untouched beach where enjoyed a beautiful afternoon.
