Description

Good Hostal (NO CAMPING)
The hostel owner which seemed quite friendly informed me that they did not offer overlanders a place they can stay in their vehicle and pay for services.

the prices are: 600 dormatory, 1200 single and 1800 double (incl. breakfast), but you get the usual reduction if you pay with an non-argentinan card (for us it was 500 pp in the dormitory)

our four bed dormitory came with a small private bathroom, lockers and was rather old but spacious. the breakfast was nothing fancy but good: bread, butter, jam, dulce de leche, tea, coffe, fruits, cake.
the kitchen is big and well equiped and there is enough space to store your food there. the common area is friendly, there are tables, sofas and TVs.
the receptionist was very nice and helped us with all our questions.

Lovely hostel. Stayed in a private room. Very clean and big. Nice space. Fantastic kitchen to use. Really hot showers. Nice tv room. Plenty of parking. 1 minute walk to Main Street. Beautiful picturesque town. Stayed an extra night.

Stayed here two nights. Very nice owners---she remembered my name and always chatted politely about my day.

Dorms are small (only 4 beds) and each bed has its own outlet and nightlight. Large lockers in the room to secure your stuff and the bathroom was in my room too. Breakfast is coffee, fruit, and toast. Overall, nice hostel on quiet street.

Paid 380 but printed price was 450 so maybe I got a low-season discount.

To expand on the oh so huge amount of info. The hostel owner which seemed quite friendly informed me that they did not offer overlanders a place they can stay in there vehicle and pay for services. Still it looked like a very nice hostel to stay "in".

Report Check-In

I had to resort to this hostel after spending all day cycling through the cold rain and getting rejected by all potential free indoor options in town. Expensive $350 peso dorm, but includes a larger than usual bread, butter and jam breakfast. Friendly staff, reliable WiFi, hot showers, clean but small rooms. A quick search and this looked like the cheapest option in Villa La Angostura.
