Description

Around 3,5 km going north from Tach Dhal Visitor Centre and the start of route "west" and others. In the main road you will see a signal for boat peer, take that exit and in the right of the peer there is place to camping, even a fire place. It's between the road and the lake but there are trees and bushes that protect you from the wind. It would be very nice but is a little bit dirty.

Perfect view of the lake. Just under the road so you don’t ear it! Can be Windy. Very quiet. Nothing fancy but right on the lake. It’s probably the old road.

Nice spot under the road by the lake! Fire rings! :) Quiet at night!

Nothing has changed. Nice place between the lake and Alaska highway. Just one spot with fireplace.

Good place with a good view on the lake . Near the start of the ship creek trail . very nice trail with children, go and come back 4 hour with my small children , a nice view at the start on glacier if the weather is good . take care at grizzly .

Report Check-In

hidden from the street. take the exit at the boat launch sign. there is one spot when you turn right to the boat launch between small trees with a fire pit. there are some more possible spots when you turn left after exiting the highway and follow the road (the old alaska hwy?)
