Very nice place. Price is high, 7200 per person but we brought it down to 6200. Cold shower but some couches to relax.

Report Check-In

What a gorgeous place!! No words. Its like staying at the tropical botanical gardens with the best service ever. Absolute paradise, never want to leave. The restaurant that is a part of the camping is also highly recommended.

Wonderfull place to come with kids (5 and 7). We planed to come 2 nights and stayed 8!
We had a relaxing time and kids had a great place to play, have fun and have a break from traveling. They have playground, you can make some short walks in the property (they have a river inside), great grassy areas clean and safe and they even have a small soccer area.
Clean toilets and showers, they also have a delicious restaurant to eat some typical food and a relaxing Beer or coffee/chocolate cup.
They family who runs the place is lovely, they were super attentive with us and kids and help us with a lot of stuff (tours, mechanic) they even help us to get contact to send our car from Panama to Colombia. They made us feel part of their family.
We already plan to come back on our way back to Mexico.

Great location, beautiful sites. It has a river running along the side of the property, a restaurant, fire pits with lots of free firewood, birds, plants, and flowers. 11500 per night for 2 people in a rooftop tent. Showers are cold.

Such an amazing place! This is a true family run business! The family takes care of the campers they have laundry service onsite not to mention the restaurant itself is delicious! (Closed Monday Tuesday) but camping is open 24/7. They offered us breakfast and dinner on days they were closed you just have to ask them what they have to offer! Highly recommend this place we were going to stay 2 nights and we stayed 5! (5,700C/person) we have a 5 year old and he was free!

Report Check-In

Spectacular place to rest, it has beautiful green spaces, a lagoon, rustic tables by the river. It also has showers and hot water, Wifi, and a restaurant with a varied menu and excellent food. The hostess Stefy very kindly advised us about the monteverde and santa elena reserves, we also bought an exquisite coffee there. When we woke up we had a delicious breakfast and took pictures of beautiful birds. Highly recommended, we felt very comfortable.

Amazing place, really recommend. Has many camping spots, good wi-fi, shower/toilet and a nice restaurant with local food.

We stayed two nights here and paid $20/night. There are many camping areas to choose from, all different. We chose the site parallel to the river and enjoyed a beautiful view and a lot of privacy given how close we were to the restaurant/bathroom. There was also a fire pit right by us, though we didn’t use it with the rain. We ate dinner twice at the restaurant and especially liked the tilapia with white sauce. The shower was nice and hot, just note there’s no private changing area, so you have to juggle clothing in the wet shower room. No big deal. WiFi at the restaurant. One night we had an incredible sunset. They helped us coordinate a guided tour of Curi Cancha for the following morning and were really just incredible hosts. We feel very blessed to have stayed here.

Report Check-In

Beautiful camping place. The gardens are huge and next to the river. We have camped with our camper SUV, paid $8 pp.

Report Check-In

super quiet and peaceful area. the big grassy spots were nice to camp on and the dogs loved it. they even have a couple of fire rings with wood if you want. we liked the cool temperature at night and even during mid day it was only low 80s. breezy all day and night. it's nice to beat the heat up here. lots of great birds to see! one spot (with the goal posts) had a water spigot to fill your water tank with.

Report Check-In

Camping in a garden with Restaurant and good restrooms. We liked this place and can highly recommend it also for bigger rigs.

Report Check-In

Absolutely awesome place. The owner was very nice when we arrived.
There were only a few campspots and we chose the one all the way on top of the campground with a beautiful view of the valley. The campsite is really beautiful with a lot of plants, trees and a small creek. We stayed here for 2 nights and also ate at the restaurant which was delicious. We wanted to stay for a couple nights more but had to move on.
Would definitely recommend this.

Very nice campground. So green and peaceful. Shower and toilet are 👍🏽. Owner is super friendly.
On internet it says that it is temp. closed. However we Whats-appt the owner and it was no problem to come and camp.
We received the instructions to open the gate and the Wifi password.

Really recommended when you are in Monteverde.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay for exploring monteverde region. Nice camping grounds, a bit windy though. Sanitary is nice and clean. Wifi not at your tent, but available at the restaurant. The restaurant was closed at sun/mon/tue, but there's a nice tico soda called 'Restaurante Kari' at 5 min drive. Good for visiting Sainta Helena NP, Monteverde NP and coffee tour at Cafe de Monteverde.

Report Check-In

Great views and good food.

We stayed here on 2021-11-05 for one night. Santa Elena is a bit far away, but they have all the right facilities. We set up at the top of the property and had good view of a sunset. The food in their restaurant is great.

Report Check-In

Super nice place suitable for all types of camping. We stayed there because it's quite hard to find a good free spot in Monteverde. Great food at the restaurant, very welcoming guys, you can pay extra for a hot shower if needed, WiFi, toilets open all night, very calm and beautiful garden.

Super schöner und ruhiger Camping. Die Betreiber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Im angrenzenden Bach kann gebadet werden.

Report Check-In

Great camping spot! The garden is HIGE and beautiful. We stayed here for one night but could stay longer. The family is really friendly and helpful. We travel with 4x4 with rooftent and we were the only one at the spot. Good food and clean showers and toilets. Jennifer is really sweet and helpful! You can order tilapia fish from there own pond. We paid 4.000cl per person with cold shower. For 1.000 more you have a warm shower.

Report Check-In

Gorgeous, quiet, safe, convenient spot. We had the grounds all to ourselves and it felt like what we needed it. 8$/pers, but with showers and water and the solitude, it felt right.

Owners are as kind and serviable as others mentioned.

Report Check-In

The grounds here are fantastic. We set up at the top of the camp that is grassy, open and could fit a few vehicles there if you are traveling with others. There is a slightly secluded spot and another open area (small soccer field) a bit lower down.

Beautiful plants and a river running along the property just steps away from the sites. Hot showers and great food to cap it all off. Great location.

the owner is very friendly and it was a pleasure to discuss with her. very nice place to stay near Monteverde. we were the only one to camp so we could choose the place.

Nice place with restaurant and playground for kids. They have a nice garden with various spots to choose from. 30 minutes from Monteverde. $8 per night

Report Check-In

Very nice place with a lot of information for activities from Jennifer. Good place to eat.

Report Check-In

To agree with all previous posts, this place is absolutely STUNNING! when we arrived the restaurant was actually closed but we ate the following day and it was fantastic. Camping spots have incredible views, price and facilities remain the same. Would recommend to any and all thinking to stop here - there are also two very friendly dogs that hang around. If you park right at the top, the views are the best but check the weather as it can be incredibly windy!

Report Check-In

What a great place to spend the night! Gorgeous flat campsite with a very beautiful view! You can use the shower and toilet near the restaurant, which is also a very good place for your dinner. A little bit pricey but definitely worth it!

Report Check-In

This place is possibly more beautiful than described - it was an oasis when we arrived because we drove, pulling a trailer, on Rt 145 where we had a tire blow out. Any route that takes you here that involves 145 should be avoided. Gravel and rutted and steep = trouble for nearly everyone. BUT once here, it is gorgeous and the family could NOT be nicer. Still $8 pp. super clean bathrooms.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground, we camped at the soccerfield. You van use the shower at the restaurant. Nice owners of the restaurant and camping, great food.

***update to below. We got stuck here during the most intense storms CR has seen in a while. This family was incredible in helping us during the storm (food, water, shelter) and took us with them to higher ground when the river nearby looked as if it were getting too high. Fabulous people!!

Friendly and helpful hosts. They run a restaurant with amazing food (especially the fish they get out of their ponds). They can book tours and provide lots of info. When we came there was so much rain so we didn't get to see the grounds. Bathroom and showers were offered but we didn't use them. No wifi. Tv on at the restaurant. Pricey considering there is no water or electrical hookup for our RV (8$ per adult and 4$ per kid). Buts it's quiet and we felt secure.

Report Check-In

It's just as beautiful as everyone says!! Flat grassy parking, beautiful gardens, and a playground for the kids. We arrived in a torrential downpour and were warmly greeted by the family. They gave us a few choices for camping since the grass (and driveway up to the main camping spot) can be a little soft during the rainy season. We were sorry that we left a few tire marks in their gorgeous lawn.

That said, it was also the most we've paid for a campground in three months of travel for our family of 4: $24/night. Adults were $8 and kids (ages 3 and 6) were half price, which is unusual, as we've found most campgrounds let kids in for free.

What a beautiful property. 1/2 hour from Monteverde. Friendly family. We would of liked to stay longer than just one night.

Report Check-In

Amazing campsites in the huge garden. We could stay where we want. Restrooms are open all night and the shower is warm. Food at the restaurant is good. The owners are nice an happy to welcome Overlanders. We payed 8 $ per people per night.

Report Check-In

As said before, absolutely beautiful spot near Mont Verde/Santa Elena. You can camp across from the restaurant in a flat grassy area with hammocks, or just above it in a big, very level, grassy field. Both are good options. They have nice clean bathrooms and cold shower. Very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is one of those places where they actually expect, and are happy to see people, showing up and wanting to camp in their vehicles. We paid $8pp.

Report Check-In

Really lovely place, we slept like a baby! The owners really takes care of the grounds. It's very green and there's many different areas where you can park your vehicle and set up camp. There's hammocks and seats, and a little stream running right past the grounds. It was very quiet at night, you can only hear the river and birds. $8pp per night. 40 min drive to the Monteverde park.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for a night. fantastic spot, quiet, flat and good food at the restaurant. 8$/person.
Spent the first night in CR here, 2.5-3 hrs from SJO Airport by car.

Report Check-In

Lovely spot on the way to Monteverde. Beautiful (flat) grounds and super quiet at night. $8/person, which is a bit pricey, but it was worth it for one night.
