Latest Check-Ins

Place still exists and also the rocks at the entrance. But as already said there are easy to pass. So I think if the owner doesn't want that somebody pass, he would place the rocks different.

Be aware that you are visible from the street and that many trucks stop on the road to pee and then they can see you. (With a tent you can possibly hide a little better behind the trees and bushes.)
The night was quite. Nobody came.

Report Check-In

Slept here in our van for the night. You should know that right at the main road, someone put a pile of rocks to ‘probably’ prevent people from driving down to this riverside area. You can easily bypass this rock pile in your vehicle, but just so you know, someone doesn’t want people to come down here. Probably a farmer.

But we camped here anyway. And it is windy until the early evening.

People said they made a campfire at night. Please don’t do this. The area is windy and very dry. When we arrived, we had to put out someone’s camp fire because it wasn’t properly extinguished and one of the pieces of wood was still on fire. Pretty dangerous in this dry environment.

We were undisturbed all night.

As described! So great, can fit any size rig, 2WD and low clearance is fine. The road down can be tricky to see. Oh, but yea, got a couple black fly bites in May, so keep an eye out.

Nice place to camp, you can make a fire and it is almost completely hidden from the road. The wind dies down at night so no problem pitching a tent.

Report Check-In

Good place to pitch a tent. There was a farmer next to the spot, but he left around 6 p.m.!

Report Check-In

A realy good place for overnight standing, perhaps also for more time. The car is not visible from the street, nowbody else was here. A lot of blackflys.

Really quiet with nice temperature and a bubbling river. And the starlit sky is fantastic!
