Wow! A little oasis in Wyoming. Clean and tidy. The showers are sooo good. Elec sockets inside restrooms working in June '24.

Nous sommes arrêtés pour dormir, et je crois que c'est fermé pour la saison. Il y avait une barrière avec écrit "Closed" Nous étions le 6 octobre.

Lovell city Camper Park is currently closed. The potable water is working. Didn’t use the dump station.

Stopped today & found showers and bathrooms locked for the season. You can still camp & dump station & potable water is still available. We wanted a shower but still enjoyed lunch in a shady spot & took advantage of the dump station before moving on. Would definitely stay here in the future

Best free campground. Can't believe it. Great showers. Quiet. Safe. We arrived near midnight and had no problem getting a spot. Bathrooms weren't spotless but were better than many paid campgrounds. Thank you, City of Lovell! Happy to go to the Bighorn Canyon Visitor's Center in the AM, fill a tank of gas, and spend some $$ in the town.

great place for a night or just for a free hot shower. We did not sleep here but I have seen worse paid camping! all sites are shady.
2 trailers look permanent although there is a 3 days limit. donation BB ox.

We stayed here one night while passing through and thought it was super nice for a free campsite! There are picnic tables at each site and a few fire pits/grills around the area. The showers and restrooms weren’t insanely clean BUT for free I’m not complaining! Many large trees great for hammocking or providing shade. Dogs welcome! 🐶

Free but at night has a funky smell through morning. It’s a mild trashy sewer smell. Shut off the rv fan and was good. Also a train does drive by using the horn until about 9pm. Besides that place was great. Nice level spots and clean bathrooms.

Superbe camping dans la ville de Lovell. Quelques places seulement, derrière le terrain de balle molle. Très propre. Génial pour un arrêt d’une nuit sur la route.

stayed here 2 nights, separated the day and took a shower here on a 3rd day. nice facilities, 2 bathrooms per gender, 1 shower per gender (separated by sides of the building) though Im sure you could use either as they are solo rooms. Nice showers with the shower heads with the hose attached quiet, shaded in some spots. Has water. No electric that I saw but people were using the bathrooms to charge things. Has a covered pavilion.

Had a slight concern first night with someone seeming a little out of place... but a couple actually asked me to park in front of their rig because of it (they were very nice), but nothing came of it and the second time I stayed the couple had gone and I had no issues.

This is an amazing find. Thank you, town of Lovell. Free sites, clean, hot showers and not crowded. Please contribute to the donation box to maintain the facilities and spend some money in town to support this community. Really, this is a really generous offer from Lovell.

What a great find. Literally a well kept clean full campground that is free. Picnic tables, grill and lots of space for motorhomes and 5th wheels. About 10 spaces.Theregistration signing and a box for donations

Wow !
As said by others, everything is there.
The playground and baseball fields for the kid were a bonus.

We had a quiet night.

Don’t forget to spend your money in town to encourage and thank municipalities in return. Everybody needs to fuel up on gas and groceries, so why not do so in town.

We were one of three groups there. Very clean showers and bathrooms. Pretty loud neighbors and cleaning crew at 11pm, but it was free showers so can’t complain.

Nice little campground. Off the main road a couple of blocks in a residential area. Very quiet.

As described by others - a lovely little FREE campground in the outskirts of the Wyoming town of Lovell. Run by the municipality. Sites for RV and tents. Hot showers, flush toilets, potable water and dump station.
NB - donations accepted!
Had only other towns and cities done the same...

hot shower, clean bathroom, place to make BBQ, most places under the three. dump station.. and the part is everything is for free!! highly recommend if you need to stop close to here!

Small campground within a residential area. Large trees for shade, picknick tables and BBQ grills at nearly every site. Campground provides dumping station, water faucet, trash containers, one covered picknick spot and as a great plus: a clean service block w/ toilets, sinks, electricity sockets and showers. Somewhat annoying: the neighbors on the campground let run their loud generators all the time. On the other hand a very generous gesture from the small town of Lovell, which offers this camping opportunity for free (max. 3 nights).

Very nice free campground with dumpstation, water, restrooms and showers ! Full ATT reception. Some trains during the day but not at night.

Great campground! Nice hot showers!!! Restrooms are cleaned every day. Great little park next door (if you have children, they will love it). Full LTE reception with AT&T. The town visitors center arranged a free tour for us through the chocolate factory across the street. Was great to see and a great spot for some good chocolate! We liked it so much we made a contribution. If you can miss a few dollars please do it. It’s just great that there are places like this for us Overlanders.

camp was pretty full on my visit, but for a shower I don't mind at all.
