Description

If you look for accomodation in Uyuni than no need to look further..
We got stranded in Uyuni with a broken front diff and tried several hostals and hotels, cheap and not cheap but this one stands out by far. Wilma is a host like a caring mother and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Brougt us warm bread in the morning. Allowed us to cook and use her kitchen stuff as well. In fact we lived here as if it was our house. The place is one of the cleanest we stayed in Bolivia. Showers are suicuide but the better ones. There is a mirador overlooking Uyuni and the Salar, nice during night when lightning over the Salar. We paid 220 for a double with private bathroom and 200 for a quadruple with shared bathroom. 170 for double with shared bathroom. There is a garage with limited height, about 2,6m but in front of the door nothing goes on, Uyuni is not unsafe at all.
They are not on booking as Wilma was not sure if her place has the standards to be listed ... well we assured her she will be a runner up when she does ... Give her a hug from the Dutch Family.
NOTE BigRig parking in street.

Not a great option. We paid 130 BOB for a double room with shared bathroom (without breakfast). They didn't had a place for our car so had to leave it on the street for the night. Wifi sucked. Very very slow. The shower was okay in the evening (low pressure, but hot). In the morning it was cold. Room was not heated, but blankets keeped us quiet warm during the night so that was okay. If you pay a bit more there are definitely better options in town.

one of the best places I've been in the last time.
4 reasons why you should come here:
1-Vilma took care of me being warm like a mother, and she's the nicest Bolivian I met so far.
2-best breakfast I had in the last month.
3-very cheap
4-parking for 2 cars and I parked my bike inside as well.

Since she entered booking.com the prices just went up!!!
The minimum price now is around 130bol.
She was not that friendly but okay.

Wonderful place. Breakfast is incredible good and the rooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay in a doubleroom with own bathroom very much. We parked our VW T3 on the street and felt us safe. We can recommend this place to the fullest

Report Check-In

We payed 85 bobs pp in a dorm with breakfast. Breakfast was really good and parking our small car was also easy and good. The owners are really friendly but it seems other people we met payed less so it may be depending on the person. Showers and toilets were not that great as it seems like half of the suicide showers were not working and the shared bathroom was really small so you couldn't really sit... we couldn't use the kitchen either. So after all we left after one night because the hostel is quite good but not worth that price to us.

Nice place. 60/b for a dorm bed; had the room to myself both nights I was here. Good wifi most of the time throughout the building. Electric shower. Room to park motorbikes inside at no extra cost. The mirador room at the top is warm during the day (like a greenhouse) so a nice place to relax. They have propane heaters but only for an extra cost / with an expensive room. Very clean.

Only downside is it's a ways (about 5 blocks) from the main drag.

Owners are extremely friendly and helpful with whatever questions you have about the area (but only speak Spanish).

What a nice place! And great owners!
We stayed one night in double room for 170. Fantastic breakfast, and all the small things that make you happy: good toilet paper, soap, big towel, warm water,...
Don't go anywhere else

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it! It's a little pricier than some other hostels, but worth it for the quietness, comfy beds and Wilmas amazing service! Seriously, we've never been treated so well and she made our stay amazing. We also managed to squeeze a Toyota 4Runner with roof tent (2.2m high) into the secured parking with no issues.

We arrived at the hostel an the owner showed us different rooms with different prices. There are rooms with privat or public bathrooms. The hostel is very clean and the owners are always cleaning and working. Nice bathrooms, nice common rooms. Secure parking for a one van is posible. WiFi is very good and all over. Potable water available. Very very nice and helpful. They are locals and recommend agencies for the solar and other things. There is also a room with handmade products.

It is great to meet such kind hosts. We arrived quite late, in 2 separate vehicles with one member of our party that got ill. We were offered all possible comfort. It is an excellent place to stay a couple of nights in Uyuni. Clean. Helpful people. City Centre and ATM's at walking distance.
