RVs welcome. Dirt pad across from the plant (there was zero odor). Sits just east of the river with plenty of space for multiple vehicles, including a big rig or two. Fees for sanitation dump.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Clean and easy. Dump on passenger side as you pull in, may require a turnaround. $10 to dump. Potable water adjacent.
Report Check-InWe were here mid February. Clean and easy place to dump and fill up potable water. Spigot we used was slow but thankful it’s open this time of year. Fee is based on honor system although there are cameras.
Report Check-InStill $10 for RVs and $20 for commercial. Can go down Goodale Lane to a large parking lot to turn around. Blue River trailhead. No camping or overnight parking at trailhead. That gets you properly aligned to dump and fill. Water is slow to fill, but good to drink. There is another spigot on the building if you only need water, drive up close to building on way in.
Report Check-InAwesome place to take care of water and waste, friendly people here.
Report Check-InDon’t be that person. Donate the $10-20 to dump and/or fill water. It’s the only place open in the area where potable water is available during the winter.
Report Check-Infees are now $10 for RVs and $20 for busses, honor system fee collection.
Report Check-InOpen year round with dump and potable water. There are two potable water connections. Still $10 for class a and $5 for smaller on the honor system.
Report Check-InNot the plant itself but across the street (south side). Can’t figure how to enter a location this app doesn’t have a label for. So I asked a Sheriff’s deputy (when scouting the Summit Cty Library for a spot - he said not allowed). He also told me this location a good, quiet spot for overnighting despite the “No overnight parking or camping signs”. The dirt pad is large enough for several vehicles. Do not park on the left/north side of the road OR beyond this dirt pad. It’s a long, 2-lane highway between Breck and Keystone. Very quiet here. Ground isn’t perfectly level but it didn’t bother me.
Report Check-InStopped to fill potable water tank on my van. Water tap on building and also near the dump station. Water fill was very slow but it worked. I put a couple dollars in the box for good karma.
Report Check-InFree potable water. Spigot on side of building. Was on in February when we were here. Very slow to fill!
Report Check-InYes potable water tap connection - payment by honesty system $5 water and dump.
Report Check-InCamers/RV's 5$
Busses 10$
Self paying
They have potable water (I guess it is free)
