Description
Beautiful little Campsite (only three sites) a few hundred metres away from the Mata Mata border post.
The farmer family recently found a Mercat baby which they take care of. It will probably be soon their mascot.

MTC reception weak at Campsite but better on top as a tower is nearby.

Report Check-InPerfect little stay over if you miss the border closing times into Mata Mata. Nam closes at 19:00, ZA closes 16:30...
Tranquil, clean, toilet paper was provided, the donkey was even stoked for us.
Pity about Mata Mata's generator that hums till 21:00...
As described below. Water from the taps is slightly salty. Electricity at the concrete table near the watertap. Only 1 toilet and shower, water was warm in the evening. No toiletpaper!

Namibian border is asking for a booking at KTP but let you walk through to Mata Mata to get a booking. I got 1 at arrival.
Lovely little campsite on a farm right next to the KTP entrance. Big trees give shade. Very quiet. Warm water comes from a donkey. They also have a Little Farmstall. 150 ZAR pp.
