Description

Hostel on top of the hill where you can stay on the parking lot and use their facilities for 10s/car. Toilets and showers are a little rustic but work. There was a nice crowd of people in the hostel while we were there. It's a really good place to relax and enjoy the waves. Only a short walk to the two surf spots close by. Hostel has a restaurant but it is more expensive than other options in town. Best solution is to bring your own food. Next shopping option is in Talara. You could probably use a plug nearby to use electricity but you'll need an extension cord. They have rooms too. I think a dorm room costs around 30s.

Prices February 2024, 79 soles for a dorm…

Camping no longer allowed August 2022

I didn’t stay here. The place looked nice, they claim to have starlink internet.

I talked to a friendly lady, but the prices they asked for a dorm room was ridiculous. 79 soles for a bed in a 8 person dorm. She explained that was high season and you pay for the waves….It was definitely not fully booked or didn’t had much guests.

The place is pretty run down, and expensive for the condition it’s in. No kitchen for guests. The owner is really cheap and does everything to run the place into the ground.

Not allowing overlanders to camp in vehicle or tent anymore. Private room was offered 118 soles per night.

Van camp spot is just in the concrete parking lot among other cars, but great view and great facilities. Big deck, lots of tables and chairs and hammocks, ping ping table, pool table, restaurant with good food. One toilet with no running water and one outdoor, cold shower. We plugged in with our long extension cord through the window into their restaurant kitchen. Wifi slow.

We spent 2 nights here. Paid 10 sol/pp for a night. The parking is large, but the entrance is pretty narrow. We could go with our camper but maybe not with wider vehicle.
People were really nice, we spend a good time here. The location is pretty awesome to see the view on the ocean and the amazing sunset. You have an access to the beach thanks to a stair so in 30sec you are on the beach.
Surf conditions are pretty good here. About 25sol to rent a board.

Amazing place, view and great atmosphere, definitively the place to hang out for a while. I paid S/.10 pp and stayed a little longer than planned.
The water is a little colder here than Mancora, but the waves are great and little Lobitos feels so safe and relaxed.
Loved it here.

Very nice place! the water isnt always working.. A little confusing that they first told us it was 10S per night per car. At the end they wanted to charge 10S per person per night. I guess they changed their price.

we asked to camp here in our car and make use of their facilities. great location on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. They asked 15 soles pppn, which is only 5 soles less than their dominatory... too michiel for is, so we moved on to Nato's cabineñas (see other camp spot)
