Don’t miss this view, same as others have described, spectacular

Report Check-In

awesome place. at the cap, so it will be windy.
city owned, city lets you use it without a charge. Drinking water available to fill, garbage bin available as well (use them! and puck up after others if you see trash! everyone will appreciate!)
free bread buns during the summer. really!

Report Check-In

If gales are forecast, stay away from the open areas near the higher cliff edges. Our Class B rig was shaking all night. My wife was convinced she was going to blow off the cliff and die and it was too dark to drive that area at night in a storm. Great views though.

beautifull view. i guess wind can be brutal up there without three so check weather forecast😅
i do it with my 40ft skoolie but i recommand to go see how the road looks before

Report Check-In

Beautiful location. Lots of different places to choose from, on the lower road, specific sites on the dirt road and the higher open area. We stayed up top. It was a gorgeous spot, fairly level. We had a great sunset. But…it got super windy overnight. We figured out after the fact that is why three others up there with us moved down to the lower part in the evening. Still, loved it. Thanks to the town for providing this!

Beau très beau spot. Merci à la municipalité Cap St Georges.

Decent free unofficial park on the Cape. I think a small RV and other vehicles can utilize the space. The long drops are atrocious so plan on bringing your own personal toilet. There’s potable water on site but the views are phenomenal.

Report Check-In

Nice camp site the can accommodate any vehicle except a 5th wheel or a large RV. Pulled in around some bushes which shielded the high winds. There’s a outhouse near the entrance but it’s pretty rough. There’s water available there though. Can’t beat free and the Cape is absolutely stunning.

Report Check-In

Camping free. No service and potable water available. Marvellous view on the sea coast

Report Check-In

Stayed one night, several other campers present. It is a free municipal campground, with specific camping spots, a water tap and pit toilets. Lovely spot with a nice hike and great sunsets.
The drive out to the cape and back is beautiful.
Bread oven only active in July & August sadly. Met a lovely local walking his pig.

Report Check-In

Indeed a beautiful place above the cliffs. Free camping and potable water. There are also pit toilets. Very windy.

Report Check-In

Lovely spot high above the cliffs, take great care with kids or pets, there are NO fences or anything else!

Report Check-In

Fantastic free camping spot that is run by the Town of Cape St George & actually encouraged. At least 7 spots that are designated around trees with picnic tables but plenty of open space around to park up. Nice spot to catch the sunset and to see the stars at night. 2 clean pit toilets and potable water next to the bread oven. Deliciously fresh free bread from 12-2pm at the info centre.

A community sponsered campsite on the edge of the West Coast. Lots of seabirds. Whale watching opportunity. The drive out here passes through several Acadian and Indigenous settlements. Well worth the drive.
