Ecuador
This is the place defined by the Incas and seriously we preferred this one! It is named museo Inti Ñan In Situ. It cost 4usd per person including guide and experiences.
Eso es el lugar definido por los Incas y en serio hemos preferido este! Se llama el museo Inti Ñan In Situ. Cuesta 4usd por persona incluyendo guía y experiencias.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Entertaining for $5pp. Few history and cocoa museums, basic brewery centre and a basic planetarium. Heaps of tastings.
Report Check-InSuper cheesy but super awesome! Learned about Indigenous people in Ecuador & then did some hands-on activities to play with the “force” of the equator. Super fun and actually on the Equator line. Definitely recommend, and only $5 pp (guided tour included, lasted about 45 mins.)
Report Check-InWe loved this place, because we had a very informative and fun tour (in English). In only one hour we learnt a lot about the Ecuadorian culture and for sure about the equator. Safe parking for our van on site. Highly recommend.
Report Check-InVery interesting place! For us, better than the other mitad del mundo.
For 5$, you have guided tours in English or Spanish, you choose 1h or 30 min. You learn more about the corriolis effect and the "real" magnetic equator, with amazing workshops. They also talk about the Shuar culture.
Super nice place ! 5$ à must to do.historical and cultural explication. the guid is mandatory and it's better.
Report Check-In5$ for guided tour really interesting, with lot of experiences and explanations about mitad del mundo ! Really recommend to do it !!
Report Check-InNice museum and tour! Super cheesy equatorial experiences which is everything we wanted! Also, stayed the night in the lower parking lot for $0.50. Super chill night
Report Check-InPlenty of space for us to park (free). Lovely welcome and tour. They offer them in English and Spanish. Knowledgeable guides, they take pride in what they're teaching, and equator line related experiments were very fun. We paid $4USD per person and had a good time here. Recommended!
Report Check-Inwe liked the place and the tour. it is 4$pp (no reduction for foreigners). you can choose an english or spanish tour. it took about 1hour.
Report Check-Invery nice place to see the "mitad del mundo"
i thought that ecuator line was just an unreal line for making maps but finally, with all the experiences, i can say that something is different here.
this place worth absolutely a stop !
Really nice tour & enthousiastic guide in english. They have a small parkinglot at the entrance for free, i guess around 10 cars. Big rigs not sure, not a lot of space to turn around.
Report Check-InWe really liked this place. The tricks were fun and we learned some fun things!
$4 p.p. now incl very enthousiastic guide.
a bit of a cheesy place but nice photo ops on the equator. the little demonstrations are all a bit gimmicky. they also give a little info on indigenous people which was interesting.
the monument park place next door is much fancier and nicer looking but apparently the equator line is not accurate there.
Report Check-In$4 pp. Great tour for about an hour. Alot of information and activities, fun science tests. Restaurant is reasonably priced, clean toilets.
Report Check-InLol, a bit of fun. Our guide was hilarious. The 'activities' provided by your guide are all parlor tricks - see if you can spot how they do them! Ahh, shrunken heads and penis fish... They sure know how to show foreigners a good time!
