Nice grassy space in the middle of town. Clean toilets and showers. Very friendly owners. Wifi. Just a little bit pricy with 35.000 per person per night

Update. José is really welcoming to overlanders and he listened to our comments and critiques. The bathrooms and kitchen area are cleaned every morning. There is always toilet paper in the bathrooms. The showers are both hot when you use the far one; the hot water comes out when you turn it only slightly. José checked in with us everyday to make sure everything was okay. The WiFi is strong. The central location makes it easy to get everywhere.
It’s extremely quiet and peaceful. Our dog loved hanging out here in the thick grass.

Great stay in Valle de Leyva at José’s property! It’s a parqueadero but has ample space for overlanders. Hot showers with great pressure. Pet friendly. They didn’t mind our dog running around the grass at all. The price is normal for this touristy town, and the location is amazing. Right in the city center. Perfect for a full day of exploring.

While the lot may fill up in the day, it clears out at night. We found it very peaceful and quiet. José and his family are really sweet and were curious to see our rig. We fit well with a 6 meter long Ford Transit, but I imagine any rig longer than 7 meters may have difficulty turning into a space if the lot is close to full with other cars.

Oh, and we topped up our water tank with potable water before leaving. There are two hose connections: one in the front and one under the sink in the bathroom area. Highly recommend!

Very conveniently located; near to Saturday market, commercial area and museums. Very quiet and peaceful. Hot water in showers ( you may have to ask for hot shower to be opened). Funky kitchen but functional. Very secure, doors locked and you get a key.

Nice and quiet place to stay close to the center of Villa de Leyva. It's better to write to José before coming (phone number in an other comment).
Because of inflation, he increased the price at COP 35000ppn. Wi-Fi available, and bathrooms but not really clean.

Excelente camping con amplio espacio de prado, agua caliente, wifi, energía, muy buena ubicación. Sra. Margarita y don José son encantadores 60.000 cop por 2 personas y la motorhome 💕🚐🌿☀️

We arrived in the afternoon and Jose answered immediatly via WhatsApp.
An older, very friendly lady let us in.

Clean bathrooms, didnt use the kitchen. Quiet at night.

There were mosquitos or sandflies- so were long pants in the grass!

Good place in the middle of the city and and warm shower, highly recommended.
With 60'000 p/p a bit expensive but with lots of space.
We did not use the kitchen for the same reasons as described.
Jose is very friendly and responds quickly to WhatsApp messages.
200m around the corner there is the bakery Astral - Artisan Bread Workshop with good bread.

Stayed 2 nights here and highly recommended. Not a fancy place but great location, safe, clean, hot shower…… Jose is nice and answered our WhatsApp questions immediately!

Perfect place to visit Villa de Leyva! For 3 days we enjoyed warm showers, clean toilets, kitchen, quiet nights, potable water, wifi and the warm welcome of Don Jose and his mother Dona Margarita. Very close to the center. 60.000 Pesos per night for 2 persons and our truck were worth each cent. Don‘t forget to contact Don Jose before you arrive at +57 311 200 5959 (phone or WhatsApp)so he can arrange someone to open the gate. You‘ll get your own key for the pedestrian gate to come and go like you want.

It's a convenient camp site close to town. But Jose is a bit full on. we probably received 10 phone calls from him in 2 days. He also sent multiple pictures of us from the security cameras to us throughout the day. His mum who looks after the site is very nice and friendly. Kitchen is not very usable but bathrooms are good.

Great spot very close to town! Jose is very sweet and responds very quickly. His mom Margarita is the one who lets you into the campsite. CALL AHEAD before coming so they are able you let you in. Great showers and they have a nice spot to hand wash your clothes.

Very good location, 3 blocks far from the church. Flat parking, clean bathrooms, hot shower , able to load fresh water. Jose is so friendly. Recommended to visit village. $30k pppn

As mentioned before, Doña Margarita and Don Jose are great hosts. The camp site is in an Exelent location only 3 minutes walk to downtown Villa de Leyva. Bathrooms are just remodeled and showers have hot water. If no one answer the door, contact Don Jose at +57(311)200-5959 he will arrange someone to open the door for you, Doña Margarita lives in a Hotel in the corner.

We stayed at the camp site 6 nights. They charged us $25k per person. But if you only are staying one night they will charge $30k per person.

We spent two nights here and it was wonderful. The kitchen has ample pots and pans for cooking, the shower is warm and the bathrooms are clean. There is a laundry station to wash your clothes by hand, potable water to fill your tanks and is a short two block walk yo the main square. At night is's very quiet even with how close to the center you are. There are a few dogs that bark at night, but not too much. The entrance is tall and wide, the only restriction would be trying to turn in from the street if you have a really big rig. Margarita and Jose are super kind, welcoming, helpful and responsive. Any questions you have just send them a text and they'll respond usually within minutes. It's a little pricey, but for us, it was worth it. 60k per person per night. Probably negotiable for longer stays.

We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. Very quiet at night. Located two blocks from the main square. Clean bathrooms with hot water shower. Laundry station where you can wash laundry by hand and hang dry them. Kitchen has ample pots for cooking if you want to use the kitchen. Jose and his mom Margarita are very nice and welcoming. Anything you need, just contact them and they will set you up. The entrance is large enough for the taller rigs, the street is wide enough for large rigs to maneuver as long as there aren't a lot of cars parked on it. There is also Wifi, but being in town and having signal, we didn't use it. The entrance is gated and right next to a very new, modern housing complex. You can contact Jose at +57 (311) 200-5959. They will let you in and give you keys to the property. There are security cameras on-site. There is a lavandería nearby, only a 5 minute walk they charge 6k per pound of clothes.

great place to star in villa de leyva. 3 minutes walk to the center, suitable for big rigs, hôtel shower, banos, kitchen (not so clean but sufficient). friendly orner, very calm.
30k per adulto, free for children under 10y.
electricity included, drinking water...
dogs are welcome.
they also have rooms (80k pp) available but we did not see them.

This is a perfect alternative to the Mi Refugio which has closed down. It is a large grassy yard conveniently located two blocks from the centre. The entrance gate has a height of 4 meters. The place can accommodate any size rig, for very large vehicles it may be a challenge to reach the gate because of the narrow streets.
The owner Jose is very welcoming and friendly. There are clean bathrooms and hot shower, electricity and wifi. There is also a kitchen which we did not check out as we don’t need it. We paid 60 kpn for a campervan with two adults including electricity. This was for a single night on Saturday, you can possibly negotiate it down if you stay longer.
