And, no film. Kaput for months. They say they make a new film.....
No monkeys either on the trail.
The other sides, Portals, of Ibera are free of charge, also free camping with good facilities. And lots of animals.
Report Check-InPrice is now $5,000 for foreigners and $3,000 for Argentineans. Paying this entrance is mandatory if you want to do a boat tour with any of the tour companies. Once in the boat a ranger will request you to show him the entrance brazalete that they give you here. The brazalete is valid for 5 days.
Report Check-InEntrance fee increased to AR$ 3300, adult foreigners.
The adjacent hikes are of almost no interest, as where the paths are constructed, there are no wetlands anymore. The fauna mostly moved further away, the flora is changing, respectively dying.
The visitor center will sell you the place as if the drought doesn't exist.
Remember to stop here first and pay entry. Then you receive an armband that allows you entry to the park. We did a walk on the walkway 2 hours before sunset and saw foxes, monkeys, deer and 1 armidillo. Highly recommended.
Report Check-InThe Visitor Center is open.
Entrance fee is Arg$ 2.500/person
Closed due to construction of new Visitor Center. Nothing to visit actually.
Report Check-InIts not allowed to park here for the night, but the ranger allowed us to park on the gravel place in front of the bridge. If you need nothing else, just a place with a nice view, this is the place to overnight. If cars cross the bridge, some noise, but free.
