This hostal is not a hostal anymore. The military took it. Now its a surf rent place and you can have a avo bread. Nice vibe

Cuartos. Duchas. Carpa sobre la playa ok. No hay espacio para camping con auto pero permiten estacionar en el parqueo.

I can’t believe people aren’t raving about this spot, but to each their own. I thought it was way better than mancora.

I was denied leaving Ecuador with my peruvian plated motorcycle, and a bit angry about it. Turned around and headed S to hit a different border, the Sun was setting so I found this spot on iOverander....almost camped in the oil fields on the way in because thought it would be a bad place due to the industrial looking drive in. So wrong. It is a lovely, lovely spot with an incredibly kind and chill manager + volunteer staff. Fantastic restaurant on site. Plenty of lounge space. Gorgeous sunsets!!

35s/noc dorm + simple desayuno (eggs are extra)
Dinner: 15-30 proper. Eating a quinoa+ chicken+ fresh veggie & cheese bowl right now.
Camping: 15 + desayuno or 10 without

I camped and surfed here. Nice view, good food at restaurant. $5 us. Safe parking

This is not a hostel. it s a surf house so, there s everything like an hostel but NO KITCHEN. everybody was super friendly and the volunteers are all nice people that are just there to surf. the place is in front of the Piscina break and that s it. Not much else around so if you need groceries or restaurants you may have to walk, if you don't have your own vehicle. wifi is slow, but present. the onsite restaurant is good and breakfast is decent for 8soles. slept in my tent for 10soles. there are alternatives for 35 in dorms with breakkie.
plenty of parking but not sure if it's secure. I mean, it s not dangerous at all but there is kind of a gate. overall a great place to stay and chill for few days.

We checked out most spots here from overlander and this for us was the best option, We stayed in a our tent for 10s-pp the friendly manager gave us a mattress and pillows with clean sheets :)
We parked our motorbike next to our tent, the place is gated shut and theres plenty of room for any sized vehicle.

After 2 days i met the owner who was very helpful with our planning to go to Chachapoyas and the rest of Peru. Theres surf rentals here, cheaper than on the beach and theres a friendly bunch of volunteers

Enjoy the beach to your selfs :)

Lovely hostel right on the beach at a good surf spot. 10s pp/pn to camp in your car and tent camping also possible. Facilities include: toilets, outdoor showers, wifi, gorgeous patio area, bar serving soft drinks, beer and cocktails. Nice cooling breeze. Really friendly owner! Definitely recommend this place.

A hostel located in front of the beach, at the Piscinas Surf spot. There is a nice restaurant and bar and to sleep dorms and privat rooms. Also, tents to rent and the possibility to stay in your car/truck/camper. Nice atmosphere, cool people
