Stayed here night of 4/2/24. This is a very nice site that is the largest pull-off from Hwy1. We were the only van there.
There is a grassy dirt mound that's separating the parking area from the hwy, so it feels safer than the other pull-offs. Could fit several vans for sure. No bathrooms, water, and I had no cellphone coverage (T-mobile).
The view is AMAZING! Million $ view from all around you! You're sitting right on the cliff off the Pacific Ocean, although there is a little dirt mound between the parking space and the cliff. Could put your chairs on the mount and watch the sunset.
At night there were barely any cars driving by and it was mostly quiet. Could hear the waves at night.
Felt very safe in this spot. We came here around 6pm and left around 10am. Nobody bothered us. No "no" signs on the parking around.
Would come again! Please keep the area clean (there were a few cans left over from previous visitors).

this spot is pretty great. amazing view and the road quiets down nicely after dark. you can hear the ocean waves below.

As described by so many before me… truly stunning views! No issues and it was very quiet after 10:30 pm until 8 am.

we drove past this spot whilst on our way to Mendocino. it's truly the most beautiful pullout spot we've come across since Sab Francisco. Don't make the mistake we made to settle for one pullout earlier. The view is insane.

Beautiful spot with amazing sunset and views.
No ‘no overnight’ signs. Room for 3-4 vans. Felt really safe. Is slightly blocked off from the road by a raised verge. No noise at night. Beautiful!!

Report Check-In

Most beautiful spot I’ve ever slept. Pretty exposed but minimal traffic at night. Was the only one there but felt safe. Use street view to see what the pullout looks like if your curious. Room for multiple cars and larger rigs.

Report Check-In

One of the most beautiful spots we stayed in the entire US! The view is amazing! A little barrier from the road, but exposed. Space for 3-4 vans. In between the ocean and the street, right on the cliffs. Perfect! And that sunset, wow!

Report Check-In

Had a peaceful night listening to the ocean waves. Before dark a couple police cars went by but didn’t pay me any attention. No cell (ATT).

Report Check-In

This place was perfect, plenty of room and great ocean and star views.

Report Check-In

WOW. plenty of room here, two vans and two cars stayed last night with room for more. cell service is spotty, but i get 5G with t-mobile on the edge of the perimeter. noise dies down at night. sunset and sunrise are awesome.

Great Spot, awesome view! Description and previous comments are accurate. There ist a "No Parking at any time" sign a few 10 meter or so south. Not sure, but it probably is meant for the paved turn out.

Report Check-In

Nice pull off on highway 1. Big enough for multiple rigs and is slightly blocked from the road. There is road noise but it dies down at night. Beautiful sunrise/sunset views, would gladly stay the night again. 1-2 bars of Verizon

Report Check-In

it's a great pull off spot. I got one bar cell signal and the views are fantastic.

Nice open are super quiet at night can hear the waves crash from down below. Would totally make camp here honestly haha no bathroom or nothing. Self sustaining.

Absolutely perfect place to pull off highway one!
This turnout is huge and has a little bit of land between you and the road which made me feel safer. Along with the raised edge on the cliff side. We stayed in a rooftop tent, the temperature was excellent the slightest bit chilly at night. We got in around 10pm and no one else was there or joined us at any point. Spotty service gets better the closer to the cliff you walk. Relatively clean, please keep it that way. Obviously there was traffic noise in the morning, but was expected.

Report Check-In

It's a large pull off with a little more space than the others along HWY 1. there was a van and another tent camper here when I got here at 9pm. the sun was just setting and it was totally worth coming here for despite the noise of the road.

GREAT VIEW, BIT NOISY BUT WORTH THE STOP

Loud railing noise after every car goes over. 2 bars of LTE . Beautiful views.

Cette endroit est fantastique on a la mer en face et de chaque côté la route et la côte escarpée

Report Check-In

Wow! I mean just fantastic sunset a few hundred feet up looking out over the ocean.

Perfect size for van. Very close to road but not too much traffic and there is a dirt mound between the road and pullout. Gives some privacy and is safe for dogs.

But the view is worth spending the evening here.
