RV Park with lots of options; can get pricey. North of central Los Barriles.
Starting at ~USD $15.00 no hookups
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
+ lots of space, good showers and toilets and there is a loundry, you are near the beach
- if you sleep in your car or a tent, there is not kitchen, wifi or electrical connections and it’s 400 pesos the night
Very nice and well-organized campground; it is not cheap at 650 pesos per night for full hookups, but you get value for your money.
We stayed for 3 nights.
Good option for cyclists wanting to cleanup and charge devices etc. We were pleasantly surprised by this chilled out, quiet community. Oriented toward long term RVers, but we camped under the shade of a huge bouganvillia tree and near the beach and everyone was friendly. A bit pricey at 400p, no kitchen facilities. Laundry 50p (byo soap).
Report Check-InSecond time here, still good value for your dollar. Nice beach area. Friendly, safe. Laundry $2.00, good clothes line area to dry.
10 days just not enough time. Will stay longer next year.
Big sandy parking lot for dry camping. Used the shower (cold) and washrooms. Great beach. Easy bike ride into town. Cows and goats all over😂. Enjoyed our two nights here.
Report Check-InNice pay site, clean bathrooms, showers, laundry. Nice folks, right on the beach north of town, so a little removed from the mayhem of Los Barriles. Even still, a LOT of OHV noise (it seems to be the preferred mode of transportation in LB). I paid 300 p/n for 2 nights dry camping, which included using the dump station. Nice beach out front for beach or wind activities. It's a long walk to town, but do-able, short bike ride. Highly recommended pay site if you're going to LB.
Report Check-InThis is a very clean RV park with great laundry and showers. Short walk to the beach. Lots of dogs, all friendly!
Report Check-InSuper place! lots of space and trees, right on swimmable and paddle-able Beach,, great bathrooms and laundry, close to town. $25-$45 a night. We saw turtles, dolphins, rays, tuna, makaral, etc. Very dog friendly. We stayed almost a month!
Report Check-InVery huge and nice campground.
Very expensive and WiFi is very very bad, or still not available.
Beach in front of is not so nice.
We left after 1 night
Good campground. Clean toilets and showers. Friendly staff. Unfortunately weak Wi-Fi.
Report Check-InBest.campground I stayed in my whole trip.
Good crowd. Very quiet. Right on the beach. US20/nite.
Clean bathrooms. The building with one shower and a toilet is hot and good pressure. The other showers not so much. Guy comes around selling fish and veggies regularly. Stayed 3 weeks
A huge open park with lots of dry camping in the trees or more typical RV style with all the bigger rigs in a line. Trees and shrubs give some privacy there too.
Very dog friendly for friendly dogs. Clean. Landscaped. Great showers. Good wifi.
Next to the beach with lots of kitesurfing and windsurfing.
They wanted $35 for an overflow slot with water and power. Extra $25 to use the dump station. Decided to stay elsewhere.
Report Check-InThe manager is really kind. You can fill gas (just ask they come to the RV). Very clean restrooms, shower and laundry (1,5USD with coins)
Report Check-InBeautiful campground with abundant shade trees, laundry, hot clean showers, restaurant and bar we didn’t try. Ulises cleans up after guests leave. I saw him cleaning dog poop owners did not. We were stuck here because the beaches were closed to overnight camping during Semana Santa (Holy Week). Nobody enforced quiet hours so we were kept awake by loud music until after 1 am before the locals finally settled down for the night. 300$mx/night for dry camping but he put is under a beautiful shade structure that had hook-ups we didn’t use.
Report Check-InFor non guests $100 pesos to dump, $300 for water fill & dump, $65 pesos/shower, $1.50 dollars to wash, line dry only.
Report Check-InWe are here in off season (for kite surfers) and enjoying it. It’s still quite windy (we’re heading north to Bahía de Concepción in a few days) and this is not a swimming beach (super rocky at the water’s edge depending on tide) but it’s a sweet community. Lots of long-timers if you want to get involved in the social scene. Even during COVID there was a small full moon party on the beach (with respectful distance).
Bird watching and fish watching (especially the flying ones) is fantastic, and the sunrises over the water are exquisite (and I’m not a morning person!)
We are paying $27USD/night (they take both currencies) for full hookup. Price was non-negotiable/length of stay didn’t matter.
For us, the price is justifiable for many reasons: the place is very well maintained (current manager, Ulises, is a delight to deal with), bathrooms are super clean and there’s always hot water with good pressure, Wi-Fi is good enough for us as travellers (you probably need a booster if you want to stay/work for a while), and when something goes wrong (like an overflowing black water drain - yuck!) the maintenance guys are there in the blink of an eye.
25-30 min walk into town along the beach, where you can find almost Cabo-like variety/sophistication with fewer people. Local vendors come through here regularly, so if you’re staying a while you can buy fruit/veg, water, fish from the comfort of your own site.
It’s really pretty cool. Best Wi-Fi (by far) is in the laundry room.
Report Check-InWe needed WiFi so we stayed here for the night. 300 pesos ocean front for our van. Decent WiFi. Clean bathrooms.
Report Check-In100% as described beautiful grounds and amazing showers. Great little town nearby. I arrived mid-afternoon and never could find anyone to pay we took showers spent the night never found anyone to pay the next morning either. 🤷🏼♂️
Report Check-InVery nice place, clean bathrooms, right at the beach.
Precio especial para mexicanos si lo pides y no usas aire acondicionado.
Very good, get there and see it for your self. You wont be desapointed..!!!
Fantastic RV park. The bathrooms are very clean as are all the other amenities. Hosts are very friendly. It is a good 2km walk to town along the beach. Best of all plenty of room. We were in the caravan area and had lots of space. Would definitely recommend
Report Check-InMany shady spots, and a nice breeze all day that keep bugs away from you.
the beach is right in front, electricity, very clean bathroom, real bathrooms. The place is well maintained and quiet and WiFi.
I paid $250 per night to sleep in my tent, and could park my car on the same site.
there's a lot of kitesurfers on that beach, and also a sea turtle hatchery, of you're there during the high season it is likely to see baby turtles rushing to the ocean in the morning. Keep lights and noise down at night, don't disturb them.
also, great sunrise !
Report Check-InWhat a great place! The bathrooms are super clean! The beach and the landscape of the place are beautiful. Wifi is working good close to the shelter and office.
250 Pesos for one night with a tent
There are not many people here. Only a few RVs that seem to stay here for the winter months.
Great facility as others have described. I normally boondock and prefer the peace and quiet, but this place had nice landscaping for privacy and shade. I stayed two nights and really enjoyed the showers, laundry and wifi. The beach here appears excellent for kitesurfing.

Playa Norte RV Park is in the neighbourhood of Buenes Aires just north of Los Barriles. It is walking distance to town and located on the beach. For a beach-front site with full hook ups expect to pay $45 USD. We were close to the beach and paid $20 USD for dry camping. This is a very popular town with many snowbirds.
The wifi was painfully slow and for this reason we will not be back. Otherwise the campground was clean, well maintained and well situated. It is directly on a rocky/sandy beach and you can kite surf or get lessons right at the shore. The sites are large and many are shaded. There was also a work center (used to be the office) where the wifi booster is located. You can work from there with nice views of the ocean.
There was full cell phone connectivity and you can see whales and dolphins swimming by if you are paying attention. The campground is located next to a free camping site. We opted to stay at this campground for the increased security and to have access to the bathrooms and showers.
Report Check-InMuy gringo. Well maintained. Did not stay, just stopped for prices : 400mxp or 20usd per night all included, 100mxp for dumping only, 300mxp for dumping and filling water.
Report Check-InJust make sure you both agree with a price and make him write and sign it, or pay right now. He changed his mind twice with me and once with my friend a week after. 100 pesos for dumping, but when it's done 15 min later it's 350 pesos finally !!! 200 pesos a night (dry camping low season), after the third night you give him 600 pesos and he said "no ! it's 300/night you misunderstood ! " pffffff !
Report Check-InVery nice campground, you can either stay front beach or in « gardens ». Privacy is far better than the other RV park around.
Road is accessible for big RV, no need for 4WD or high clearance. It’s a dirt road but very easy ! Overall very good place with good ambiance.
Great location,
Bathrooms are really clean
Hutch the owner, great English
Crazy old school legend, loves a good chat, has great stories and has a beautiful simple taste that makes the park very nice to stay at!
Great energy and space to relax.
Very nice park, clean washrooms and showers and laundry room (washers only) clothsline dryer, wifi.
$400 pesos for two people and $100pesos per extra person. Gets pricy if you have a family. Even more if you want to park near the beach.
Close to US and Canadian prices for camping but much warmer :)
If you want to feel secure at night this may be the spot for you.
If you are a boondocker this may be a nice reprieve for a night or two.
Very lovely. Nice public area by beach in front of RVs? Good bathrooms. Very nice ambience. Well away from road. Very quiet at night, good star gazing. 20 us for driving camp
Report Check-InWe were just going to stay one night but WOW this place is nice. Bathrooms are immaculate. The owner "Hutch" it's a super nice man from mexico city who speaks perfect English! He was willing to give us as much advice on where to go and what to do as we asked for. Gave us a spot with a beach vote for 15 usd even though he usually charges more just because it was slow. There was a lovely little building that had wifi and table and chairs. Beach is mostly empty minus the four wheelers passing through to get to town. the gecko restaurant is good too, although a bit pricey, it's on par with los barriles prices.
Report Check-In$30US/day with full hookup. $25 for dry camping. Washers are $2 and takes u.s. quarters. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. WiFi is ok. Quiet location.
Report Check-In$15 USD for one night. Pricey but nice. Best showers in Baja hands down (so far), including hotels. Decent internet. Owner/Manager is a Mexican guy named Hutch who is fluent in English. Interesting character with lots of stories to tell and tips about the mainland.
Report Check-InStopped in based on other reviews but didn't stay. $42 for beach front and the "discounted" price of $39 they offered further back was a joke. The facilities looked nice and true there is more space than at Verdugas but it's very windy and with truck camper, we were sort of stuck with nothing really close.
Report Check-InNice folks and they keep it clean! Best showers we have seen...warm, clean and private. Bathroom is also nice. Wi-fi area and laundry. we paid $200 pesos with easy access to beach. Beach front spots are more.
Report Check-InThe best and the most expensive. Not like a parking lot. Spacious sites with landscaping and shade. Hot clean modern big bathrooms. Decent internet in two places with table and chairs. Laundry. Wide beachfront. Downside? Expensive. Low season would be okay but owner likes to raise prices for winter season. $32 for ocean view, $20 for backrow and $42 for oceanfront with no electric hookups (water ok). We still paid though. Beach is great and very relaxing compared to the parking lots in town.
Report Check-InNice campground with clean facilities and hot showers. Since Jan 1, 2015 their prices have at least doubled. Cheapest option in unmarked spot is 18.00USD, waterfront is almost 50USD. There are couple option in between as well. Not as cheap as it used to be :(
Report Check-InBeach camping, spacious. Cold showers and laundry. Should be $7/nt but they wanted $35/nt high season.
Report Check-InChecked in today. $20 for beachfront $15 for just off beach and $10 for the back lot. Since it is not really beachfront due to rocks and landscaping- I guess it doesn't matter. Slow internet. Hot showers. Clean bathrooms.
Report Check-InGreat campground, not the cheapest though, 200 pesos/night. Very good internet and clean showers.
Report Check-InRV Park with lots of options; can get pricey. North of central Los Barriles a few clicks. ~USD $10.00
