On the way from Maltahöhe to Lüderitz on the C14. We turned left into the D808 and found a nice bush camp close to the road hidden behind the bushes (see pictures to find the entrance). Beautiful sunset and some game around.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We drove over the “fence” (its just the wire) maybe 70-100 m in. It looked like a totally unused track (no fresh tracks) and we are not sure if it’s private property anymore or not. We stayed in the riverbed, to better hide, but there is absolutely nobody around. Not even one car passed the way in between 16 hours. In daytime there are some flies around and there is one stinky tree, but just drive down the riverbed and you will be fine :) Really good MTC connection. Crazy beautiful surrounding and amazing sunset.
Report Check-InTo reach the spot you have to drive over an old fence. We guess you can, but we rather not. So although not possible to wildcamp 'hidden' from the road. It's a great place on a very quiet road. We parked up late and the first car only passed at 8.30AM. We enjoyed the views!
