Something not right?

Description

Awesome mechanic, found parts that iguana 4x4 couldn't. Told me that they needed a new track bar and some other parts and then when I came back they said they didn't need them, so I saved a few hundred dollars. They are very honest. Also took my truck to a car wash for me and did the best job I've ever seen. (It was the dirtiest it's ever been) His prices were much better than iguana 4x4 too.

Great place, did great work on my Mitsubishi Montero, and Juan Pablo even offered to drive me to a close by hostel when it became clear the car had to stay overnight, as I couldn't sleep inside due to
the alarm they put on at night.

Excellent mechanic work. They did everything we asked and explained us every detail about parts and replacements: power steering leak and sway bar maintaining. Fair prices. We are very happy and feel reassured we will make it further south! Highly recommend!

Staff was courteous and efficient. We thought we needed brake pad replacements which we brought with us for Ford F-250 since smoking on downhills from Central Andes range. But after the wheels were removed, staff showed us pads were in excellent shape. So not needed replacing. Saved us money. We also had them re-calibrate Low Tire Pressure gauges.
Limited English except for JP's father who is onsite most days.

Don't bother calling or emailing to set up an appointment. They don't reply to email and they don't answer the phone. Once they get to work on the car they seem to be conscientious.

I went there with no Spanish skills at all. I used a translator app to explain that it needs an oil change, new breaks, and general maintenance. They were very helpful, we just talked over translator apps, which was quite fun actually. They did good work. New break pads front and back, new break disks front, new air filter, oil filter, oil change, general maintenance, and they fixed the broken gear stick, which was broken on one point, still working, but you had to be careful when changing gears (automatic). All for 800 USD, can't tell if that's cheap as I don't have a comparison. The gear stick thing though alone was 300$ because apparently they had to dismantle the whole wheel to weld the broken part. Oh, and I also got an awesome carwash, never seen my car so clean!
