Disappointing!
Now 180 Rand entrance fee for two and a car! Just for the beach!
You have to lower your tire pressure if you want to drive onto the beach, and join 30 other cars there. Somebody is at hand to do that for you for a tip.
We refused, and stayed on the parking lot.
Probably the beach is free of charge if you stay on the parking lot just outside the gate, but we don't know.
Two times check for alcohol, registration of passport number, telephone number, car number, etc.
The beach was crowded at a Saturday afternoon: 30 cars, hundreds of people.
Better go to St. Lucia, further South: a few kilometres of wild beach, free of charge, less harassment, less people, less carnival ...

The park no longer allows motorcycles to enter.

Great place for scuba diving. Warm water with good visibility. We went with Coral Bay divers, which is adjacent to the campground. Cost to dive on 2 mile reef is R330 including tank and weights. Full equipment rental is an additional R255.

Park entry was R40 per adult, R55 for the vehicle plus R7 per adult per night for overnight stay

Entrance fee 40 Rand per person + 50 Rand for the car, valid for your entire stay. If sleeping inside the national park you will have to pay an extra 6 Rand per person per night.
