Pd. Prueben las pupusas del pueblo, son deliciosas!

Without a doubt one of the best places we have found to spend the night on our route through Central America.
The place is incredible, a natural paradise with fruit trees, plants and flowers. A small paradise ideal for relaxing, with bathrooms, shower and sink. Everything is very clean and well-kept.
And the Ranch also has unbeatable views of the entire valley. We planned to stay one night and ended up staying 4 nights.
Both the owners and Alex and Bea, the family that takes care of the place, are very generous people. Without hesitation they will help you with everything you need.
P.S. Try the town's pupusas, they are delicious!

A charming haven for travelers. Alex, Bea and their son (8 years old) are very attentive and kind. We spent two very peaceful nights, with a beautiful view of the valley. We recommend it and will certainly return when passing through the region again. Thank you very much for having us.

- Getting there: The road coming from the town of Sacacoyo is much better than if you come from the north.

- Price: There is no price, it's a free will donation.

- Bathroom & Shower: Bathrooms were clean and even had TP. The shower is also clean, running water and not hot but the water tank is black plastic so it was kind of a perfect temperature.

- WiFi: They do have wifi, it was a little slow for us to use for work (5mbps download) but was fine for just browsing.

- Other things to note: The dogs are securely caged and only let out at night for about an hour to run around. The caretaker when we were there, Alexander, said that he makes sure the kennel is secure. The owners and caretakers are all very kind people and even treated us to coffee and bread one evening as part of a social hour they put on.

Rene and Eli are running a very nice event and camp location. Super views, clean baños. Simply and good.
Village offers basic shopping and nice bakery.
Shade and wonderful cool climate during evenings and nights.
Don‘t follow Google maps directing you directly right off the motorway. Go to the round about on the highway and climb up from there to the location.
No big rigs, but we made it easy with our 6,3m long and 2,20m wide RV.

This place is incredible as are the owners Eli and René, they are wonderful people.
The place is super quiet, it has very beautiful views, very clean bathrooms, a shower, they have water and a sewage drain. Our plan was to stay a week but we were so comfortable that in the end we stayed two weeks. Our dog Negra also had a great time since she was able to be free and pampered. Thank you guys for treating us so well.

The owner Ely and René are incredible and unbeatable friendly hosts where we immediately felt fine. The Campsite looks like a Garden of Eden. We initially planed to stay for 2 nights, but in the end we stayed 5. We left this place with a tear in our eyes.
We at least confirm the other positive comments. It is a MUST to come over to this place.

We did not stay, but we tried to get up there with a Class A 36 footer. Low wires narrow streets and tight turns. We did manage to get the rig turned around and back on highway with a few new scratches.

Great place with several trees for shade, including several fruit trees, flowers and a large terrace with a magnificent view of the valley where it is possible to eat or have a drink. The breeze is cool from the terrace, which is perfect for a good night's sleep, or more. Walking distance to small markets, bar, pupuseria, cafe and panaderias. Well located between San Salvador and the Santa Ana Volcano. The hosts René and Ely are really kind and welcoming people. Oscar, who takes care of the place, is always there to give you a helping hand and make sure everything is going well for you (and to bring you coconuts and bananas). Highly recommended!

It’s a beautiful and quiet place with gorgeous views, and cool climate. There is water, and a washing machine, clean bathrooms, and electricity upon request. They have a covered patio with tables and chairs available.
I was here during the time of the mascot incident, and in reality the incident was due to a failure in the gate’s locking mechanism. I talked to the dog’s caretaker, and he assure me, he has taken extra measures, like chaining the dog inside the cage, when guest arrive, having an extra layer for securing the pets. I spent a whole week here, with my French poodle, without any problems.

Report Check-In

We spent 4 days at the ranch to wait out the predicted tropical depression. It was a stay with positive but also negative aspects.
-if you come from the North, Google Map will take you via an old road made of dirt and stone to Sacacoyo. Be careful, it's even difficult to turn around, I had to reverse with the combi. You actually have to continue for a few minutes on the highway and turn right at the roundabout and take the small asphalt road which goes up the mountainside directly.
-The ranch has 3 Doberman cross rotweilers locked in a cage. When we arrived, there was an accident and the 3 killer dogs escaped and jumped on our 11 month old dog. She was miraculously saved thanks to Oscar, the manager of the ranch (bitten deeply on the arm and calf) and the chili spray of the Canadian travelers. Our dog had holes in her head and thigh. The owners have not asked how she’s doing or made any financial gesture towards us
-The 2nd day, after a night of rain, campers with a 4t RV got stuck in the mud and thanks to Oscar who called on the people of the village the truck was able to be freed. Even with my van (VW combi)the terrain was sinking
-No wifi
-Outdoor shower only without walls or curtains

+ very nice place, quiet, with a spectacular view of the valley and the mountains
+ the nearby village for shopping on foot
+ the kindness of Oscar and his family who offered us coconuts, soup, good conversations and smiles
+ washing machine
