Great spot! Spring is still good and lots of shelter from old buildings. Plenty of rocks to help secure your tent pegs and loads of flamingos to distract you from the cold and wind!
Report Check-InWow! Such a great spot! Amazing view on the laguna, so many flamingos! There are hundreds of them! Windy, but you can find protection with old ruins, there are some rocks walls. No problem with our 2WD van.
Report Check-InMillions of flamengos and great place to stay. You can find some wind protection at the structures, but wind is changing direction all the time. Possible to make fire (and warm up a little bit). No signal. Accessible for all kinds of vehicles. We saw nobody during our stay.
Report Check-InWe spent 2 nights here, it is beautiful quiet place, fantastic views over lake and mountains. It is an official conaf viewpoint, but there were 3 cars in 2 days, who spent some minutes there.
Report Check-InExcellent campsite with stunning views over the salar - there’s a fresh water spring about 300m down the ‘pier’ from the end of the track.
Report Check-InStay overnight here. Windy to start but die down in d night. Quiet n Cold. Lots of flamingos in d lake. Lake covered by fog in d morning. Not much sleep at this elevation, 4300m
Clean site
Very nice spot for wild camp with tent. Several ruins which form shelters, you just have to choose the most convenient for your tent and for making fire !
