Stayed here for a winters night on the way to Algonquin
Fairly quiet
Little traffic in the morning
Not plowed in winter
Report Check-In“No Overnight Camping” sign now posted. Respect the wishes of the locals. In Huntsville, there is still always Walmart!
Report Check-InPerfect spot! Quiet, dark and fantastic view by the water. Two other vehicles spent the night the night we were here. A couple of local visits overnight but quiet and respectful.
Please leave no trace as this is a rare spot in the Muskokas.
Report Check-InReally beautiful spot, arrived at sunset which was nice as they have little deck chairs on the beach. No issues staying overnight. Big enough for rv's. There's also pit toilets and a sheltered picnic area. Had the beach to myself in the morning, starts getting busy around 10am.
Report Check-InGravel parking lot, many local families until around 8-9pm, then mostly clears out. Plenty of mosquitos in the evening, but not very different from other places. Great little beach, with chairs and a couple of tables. Saw the municipality actually clean the chem toilets which is nice to know.
Report Check-InEndroit tranquille sur un stationnement, vue sur le lac. Les chiens sont interdits sur la plage mais il y a un petit coin, sur le côté, où ils peuvent se baigner tout de même.
Report Check-InNice and quiet spot for a night!
Locals have quited the place around 8-9pm picnic tables and chemical toilets
Tel que décris
belle place silencieuse et noir.
belle plage et toilettes sur place.
As said before. The view is nice. Part of the parking lot is brightly lit at night, but if you park right, it's pretty dark.
Report Check-InCouldn't get to the spot because of flooding. Use caution in the entire Muskoka's during spring!
Report Check-InBeautiful, clean and quiet. Nobody bothered us. Nice view at the lake.
Thanks, Lars from gespanntreisen.com
