Turn left from Vermont 17 W and follow gravel road for 0.7 miles at Dead Creek WMA. Gravel parking site before bridge. There is another large parking space after crossing a small bridge in 1/4 mile. Excellent spot for stargazing. Some daytime walkers, hunters, fishers, all very friendly. Families camping on weekends. Quiet at night.

Beautiful spot on the water. I have 3 bars of Verizon using a wee boost. It's peaceful and quiet.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Quiet with a lake view. This is the first of the two parking areas. This one was gravel.
Report Check-InGreat spot, as described. Fine in winter. Snow covered but solid packed dirt, no trouble pulling in/out with a campervan. Extremely quiet. A section of the road in from NY side is extremely narrow & winding, very nerve racking on a foggy night. I wouldn’t recommend for big rigs.

First stop ever using Highlander app.
What a great find. Super quiet, only one here. Was able to get several hours of rest. Highly recommend.
There are two nice places. One in front of the wooden bridge, one after the wooden bridge. It's good for 2 RV or vans each. It is a very beautiful landscape and very quiet. Locals come for a walk with dogs.
Report Check-InWonderful spot! Stayed for 1 night. Beautiful, serene, and perfect! Be respectful by keeping it clean. We don't want to lose this access. During the week, no one came by. Stunning views!
