Last grouping of free BLM dispersed campsites along 18 road (sites north and east of here are paid and require reservations. Close to trailhead parking for OHV and MTB trails. Several sandy, fairly close together sites with fire rings, that are more or less level. No amenities, pack in pack out, and respect our public lands.

Tough pulling the r-pod trailer up this road - tons of seriously big potholes! Lots of room at the BLM camp area. The 18 road Fruita trail system is 1 mile up the road :)

it's 3 miles down a rough road but my minivan did just fine. go slow
Report Check-Incrazy busy! tons of other campers everywhere. I had a hard time finding an empty spot for myself. No issues, nice, scenic and quiet.

Flat, dispersed camping, exactly what it says it is. Was here on a Monday and Tuesday - saw 3 other groups, quiet and peaceful
