R165 pppn, quite expensive! Nice site, (donkey) heat the barrel outside with a fire for hot water which you have to light yourself. Generator on at 6pm. Pool. Facilities are nice. Friendly people and near to the touristy things. Busy!

Loved this campsite. Private ablutions are clean and really well thought out. Braai and kitchen space too. We called ahead on the day to check availability. Camp facilities great - swimming pool, well stocked bar and great sunset views from the rocks. Paid N$280 ppn.

We stayed with 2 big cars at campsite no.4.
Enough shade in the afternoon, private ablutions, everything clean.
Amazing surrounding.
We paid NAD270 ppn

Beautiful but I felt really uncomfortable a few times.
They first try to let me pay more while I asked for the overlander spot and when paying later on for drinks the prices had changed all of a sudden and then he even tried to give me the wrong amount of change back.

The tour guide kept on hitting on me while I made clear I was not interested but he eventually followed me to my car.

Woman traveling alone for 2 years but never had an experience like this before...

Beautiful place do (swimming pool is dirty)

This is a fun campsite to stay at. The pool area was great to sit by in the afternoon. we enjoyed walking up the koppie to watch the sun set. We stayed in the overland campsite but had it to ourselves. The site has a kitchen area and running water. It also had a lovely fire pit. The shared toilets and showers we're clean a tidy. The donkey showers were piping hot when we figured out the right tap to switch on.

Nice campsite, you can choose between overland campsite with shared ablutions or a private campspot with own ablutions. We payed $N240 p.p.p.n. for a private campspot.
Very friendly owners, who were interested in our travel stories and like to help thinking about nice places to go to. There is electricity until 8 pm but light at sites is always working.
Very nice bar/chill area around the swimming pool. The pool looked a bit dirty though.
We can definitely recommend this place.

Surprisingly busy place, many guests at the pool and bar. Staying at one of the so called Overlander Sites (160pP) near to bar and pool was the better option as we pre ordered dinner. 245pP, tel before 15h. Chicken Potje was a little basic for the price. Friendly (south african) owners, always around for travelling tips.

We returned with family visiting from Germany. They loved it too. This time we stayed at the “Overlanding site” which are the camping spots close to the pool and bar. They are cheaper (NAM 160 pP), but you still get a braai spot, washing up sink, light and the shared ablutions are nice and new. Climb the Koppies behind the pool for a nice sundowner spot. We did the Desert Elephant Trekking. It’s expensive at NAM 990 pP and (depending on the location of the elephants) meant a very long drive in an open vehicle. It was great to finally see them, but we weren’t sure it was worth the money.

We stayed here for night and had we known how nice it was we’d have stayed another night, but our itinerary didn’t allow it. Beautiful pool. We stayed at the camp with private ablutions and each spot has sink, braai, water, solar power and shade. Has an incredible pool too.

Great campsite! Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean pool area with shade, hammocks, and soft day beds. Option to have private campsite with own bathroom but you have to walk 300m+ to pool/bar/reception. We preferred the cheaper shared bathroom only 20m from pool. The “Rhino” campsite has beautiful shade under a huge tree. Recommend taking the 35km farm track thru to White Lady (easy 4x4).

Very well maintained camp site - we booked a private site for N$420 (2 people) but decided to rather camp at the Overland site (N$320 for 2 people) because it was closer to pool and Bar. Very clean ablutions, big firepit and site also has running water and washing line. Overland sites can get noisy in mornings but it didn’t bother us because we were up early anyways. Madisa has a really nice vibe and great swimming pool! Private camps also looked really nice.

Fabulous campsite! What a little gem! Stunning setting among the rocks, very tastefully done. Lovely friendly staff, great pool and bar.

N$145 for pitch with shared ablutions. N$190 for more secluded pitch with private ablutions.
We opted for the cheaper. We had a spacious pitch on sand under the shade of a tree. Large firepit/braai, sink, washing line, electric light, power socket, dustbin.
Private camps look incredible too.

Showers are cold, although there are donkey boilers that you can light yourself. Water is safe to drink but doesn't taste good. Power is on a generator only, which is switched on at sunset and off by 10:30pm at the latest - so you do not have 24hr electricity at your site.

We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast for $110pp. Including cereal, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, eggs, bacon, bread and tomatoes.

Really nice individual campsites for tents or vehicles. Beautiful spot in the rocks. N$190-145 per person, per site

Beautiful camp with very good private facilities. Lovely bar with reasonably priced food and drink. Owner, owners mum and staff all (including a young guy doing his tracker training) all very helpful and easy to talk to. Views at sunrise and sun set were some of the best we have ever seen.
