Something not right?

Description

Very nice place at the beach with a lot of space. Everyone has a table with a roof, light and electricity. A little expensive .4000 colones pp. You have to pay in the house at the end of the camping area. Be aware of low-hanging wires in many areas. Box trucks make deliveries but a big rig would be a tight fit.

Beautiful beachfront campground. Seemingly newly remodeled bathroom and shower facilities. Very nice and accommodating camp hosts. Individual covered food prep areas at each campsite.

Nice site but overpriced,
5000 colones per person, child aged 6 years included, or 20,000 colones per night for 1 couple and 2 children aged 6 years old.
We're not staying!

Great quiet spot. Walking distance to a local small grocery store. We chilled down on the bay under the stars all alone. It was great. Showers and toilets. But bring your own TP. Howler monkey woke us up.

We spent a week here mostly by ourselves between weekends. The facilities are basic, cold water shower from a pvc pipe, flushing toilet with seat cleaned every day. Each palapa has a 15 amp power outlet and a light. There is campsite WiFi which we did not use as cell service is strong. (We put Starlink on the beach a couple of times at low tide for a strong signal). You drop off trash at the office(!). We swam every day as the waves are insignificant and the waters are mostly smooth. There is a pulperia 10 minutes walk away in the village with a few vegetables and lots of household supplies and junk food so bring your own foods. No mosquitoes and a few sand fleas morning and evening.

got to the place at dark at 8pm and was full, but they let me park my car 10 feet from the beach for 2000c. feels safe.

Great big campsite! 5000pp, individual areas with electricity, sink, picnic table, covered cooking area, washroom and shower. I can imagine this place might get packed on holidays and maybe weekends, they have the capacity for it. We were the only ones there on a Tuesday. The washrooms look pretty dilapidated from the outside, but they’re totally fine inside. The bay is really pretty and calm, lots of iguanas and keep your eyes [and ears] out for a pair of Scarlett macaws! They came really close to us! Enjoyed our stop here for charging everything, fixing up our camper and showers after many days of wild camping!

Just as others described, except it’s 5,000 colones per person now.

Perfect sweet location. Owned by a old man in his eighties. His grandchildren help him to run the site and are super friendly. Lots of animals around and we were afraid of lots of insects around sunset (cause it’s close to the mangrove). But there weren’t that much. We ordered pizza at Henry’s: they’re ok but nothing special (and we had a medium size pizza which was -for European standards- huge😉).

Everything was locked down and they still wanted 4000C per person. Obviously we didn’t stay.

Very large formal campsite. Head past all the spots to speak with the owners at the buildings past the spots. Has water/showers/toilets and the water was the warmest we had seen in Costa Rica camping. They had to turn the water on as we were the only ones in the campsite when we got there, but they were happy to do it. Water seemed very clear, almost smelled treated. Owner said it was potable... but not 100% sure on that.

Really awesome location overlooking the beach. Great place to walk on the beach, swim, or hangout. Had electricity throughout the campsite. Also has a pizza delivery guy who you can call and will deliver to the campsite. We ordered it (had the owner order it for us) and it actually was really good.

We were in a van, but they had covered areas with tables which would work great for tents. There is a really small convenience store about a mile away also that has basic supplies.
