nice picnic area with tables, no sign for no overnight
Here is what to write on your GPS: Halte de l'Île-de-Bellechasse, Berthier-sur-Mer, QC G0R 1E0 I stayed there one night in a tent without any problem!

Report Check-InNice spot to stop for a little while and stretch the legs or grab a bite. “NO CAMPING” sign at entrance.
Report Check-InNice place for a rest with some picnic tables.
However there is now a sign at the entrance that indicates no parking from 11pm to 6am, 1 April to 1 December. I decided not to risk staying the night.
Report Check-Inits just a stop place, near the road. nothing fancy with kids and dog😉
Report Check-InAn absolutely beautiful spot. Some traffic back and forth on road that goes by, but was quiet most of the night. Garbage available and picnic tables. The views over the St. Lawrence are spectacular. One other rig here last night.
Table à picnik et poubelle sur place. Nous étions 6 cette nuits.
Report Check-InNice spot near the road with a nice view on the St-Laurent River. Lots of campers but enough room for everyone when we stayed. Road is quiet during the night since most ppl are on the highway anyway.
Report Check-Inquite busy. very quiet even though It's by a main road. very clean. I'd get here earlish to endure a spot.
Report Check-InThis is a small picnic loop just off the highway. There are no facilities here, just a few picnic tables, some covered some not. There are no "no camping" signs and it seems to be a favorite stopover for lots of people. When we arrived at about 4pm there was one popup already parked. by 7pm there were 11 rvs and 3 cars hunkered down for the night. Unfortunately there are those who do not have toilet facilities in their cars or campers and they tend to use the park fenceline as a bathroom, leaving their toilet paper behind. Not cool! Behavior like this will eventually get this site a camping ban. Please people, if you must use the outdoors for a bathroom, don't leave any "litter" behind! These free rest stops are precious.
Report Check-InLarge area with a few picnic tables. We parked on asphalt but saw many rigs parked on the grass too. Near to roadway but it wasn't busy at night.
It was busy but 13 rigs didn't fill the place.
Report Check-Ingood for a night. people come late and city wakes up very early. nice path for bikes or walking to waterfront park.
Report Check-InBel endroit pour passer la nuit. Vue sur le fleuve et Mont Ste-Anne. Tranquillité. merci à la municipalité.
Report Check-InBeautiful, quiet spot with nice view. About 5 other small camper trucks stayed the night.
Report Check-InA lot of people here :) the place is more known than the site may suggest.
Really nice place !
Report Check-InNice rest area by the side of a secondary road. Three parties spent the night on this chilly saturday night. We slept like babies to the sound of geese.
Report Check-InStayed here overnight on our way to Quebec City. Was generally quiet. Room for about three sprinters. Some picnic tables and a view of the st Lawrence. Overall was a nice place to stay. No signage suggesting that overnighting isn’t allowed.
Report Check-Innot a lot of room for big rigs without parking on grass. spot was clean and quiet and felt safe.
Report Check-Innice place , no overnight restriction . we stay overnight with our class B
motorhome
Report Check-InThis is a very popular spot. Lots of campers here in cans and RVs and with tents. Right by a road but still nice with benches and tables and a big grass area. No toilets though but there’s pee areas behind the bushes.
Report Check-InProvincially maintained rest area without toilets. Many garbages everywhere and a nice viewpoint. Official name of the place : Halte de l'Île-de-Bellechasse
Report Check-InReally nice quiet place free as marked on this spot only 1 more person sleeping here . The marina charges 24$ per night to stay and there were about 10 rv’ tgere .
Report Check-Inno toilets, so the people are doing it behind some trees, with toilet paperson the grass. It is gross, but it is the only thing.
Report Check-InSmall park overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Only a few spots, but we stayed overnight with no problem.
Report Check-InWe camped here for the night without issues. Few other people stayed overnight in their cars/RVs as well. Pretty quiet place with a good view.
Report Check-InAlright for a night. Lots of people picnicking. The bushes are full of toilet paper, since there's no toilet. About 10 min down the road is another park with access to the beach. There's toilets there, but you're not allowed to camp.
Report Check-InSpent a nice night here although the weather was blustery and raining we had a great sleep!
Report Check-InWe had a wonderful sunset at night. Very quiet place with a nice view. Would recommend to spend a night here.
Report Check-InLooked promising but the entire area was buried under very high snow. Probably very nice view once the snow is gone. :)
Report Check-InAs said before, rest area on the side of the road.
Quiet at night but only a few spaces.
Unfortunately there is no toilet.
Police came around 9pm but said nothing.
Report Check-InRest area on the side of the road. Two RVs were also here when we stopped. Nice view of the river.
Nice place close to the beach and on the side road. Not many traffic at night. Bonus for the readers, there is an exchange box for books.
Viewpoint on the side of the road, some table are protected from the rain, quiet at night.
Report Check-InLovely, quiet spot. No other campers or RVs, but a French Canadian woman on bike stopped to visit for a while.
Great view, picnic tables, and if you're interested, a D3 geocache. There's also a cheese shop about 3k south and for the price of a cup of coffee and a croissant, we can use their washroom!
Report Check-InIt is truly beautiful overlooking the St. Lawrence river. A bit of traffic of people having dinner at the Picknick area
Report Check-InGreat place to camp for the night. Scenic lookout over the St. Lawrence river. Other RVs parked here as well. Quiet and no one bothers you.
