Locals put up roadblocks for money. Avoid. Better to drive another road.

There were lots of stops due to road construction and only one lane being available to drive, but anywhere between 5-20 minutes and we were let through each time. Maybe 10 or so between San Agustin and Mocoa. Nobody asking for money.
Report Check-InStopped at one police check point, showed our documents and driving licence and was wished a good journey.
Heaps of roadworks along the road, however the road flows well. Colombia drivers are very polite from our experience.
Only ran into legit police/military road blocks. This was the first time in all of Colombia that they actually stopped us but I think it’s because these roads are less busy and they have time to be curious. Again, looks like some new pavement is on the way that will make this route even better.
Report Check-InNo car and no one on this street. Maybe because of the many rain but currently there is no trace of a road block.
Report Check-InNo sign of any road blocks here today. Just a landslide from all the rain.
Report Check-InWe drove on ruta 45 from Mocoa up to Tatacoa desert. We were unlucky to get stuck for 3 hours in a "real" roadblock when crossing Rio Caquerá, where indigenous people negotiated with the authorities, but otherwise no roadblocks for money etc. Towards and around Neiva the road is actually new and in very good condition.
