Something not right?

Description

Front yard of a really sweet old man, Gelbert (sp?). We checked out Casa Mariposa and there was only space for 2 cars in a super tight parking lot so we ended up here. Such a great [flat] spot with a view of the valley below and plenty of space for at least 3 cars. 3,000c per car per night and we used the bathrooms at the restaurant across the way (buy a coffee so they continue to let overlanders use them!) 2 min walk to the trailhead to Chirripo and we left our cars here while we were gone (same price as camping). No gate but it's a very safe area with lots of light at night.

Latest Check-Ins

Parked in the front yard of this gentleman. Nice secure space for the van- stayed in it one night before we hiked and left it there the second night while we were on the mountain, same price for both, 3,500 cc per night. No bathroom (he said we could use his) but we got a drink and the hotel across the street and used theirs. Their hostel is open so we just used their bathroom in the morning as well. We asked at parking at the hotel but it was more expensive and not flat. The other spot marked on iOverlander farther up the road told us that they can’t accommodate parking. the photo is the view of the yard and our van when hiking down the trail. Road up to the house is steep but doable (we have a 2WD sprinter with all terrain tires).
