Something not right?

Description

Spacious and safe parking area just steps away from the beach. 4,000c per night per car (he originally asked 5,000c but we said we didn't need the shower so he lowered it). There aren't bathrooms but you can pay 500c at the restaurant across the way to use theirs. Joey, the super nice security guard who collected our money, lives in the truck container and is also the vigilante at night.

Latest Check-Ins

Was closed and overgrown when we arrived. Probably because of the rainy season..?

We didn't exactly stay at this big lot, but two houses (restaurant and normal house in between) next to the south. There we found a parking lot and paid 10'000 colones for one night (negotiated from 12'000 colones). There were two other campervans as well and overall a safe place. No problems during the night. We showered (1'000 colones per person) at a souvenir shop next to the Pura Vida Supermarket (where we also got groceries) near the entrance to the Manuel Antonio Nationalpark. It was funny for the experience, but the shower was ugly (mouldy). I think at Karahe Restaurant you could shower for free (outside). In the morning, we could use their bathroom for free. There is also a small shop (no fruits though) at the street.

Nice and flat parking right in front of the beach. Less crowded than the other parking places. They have showers and bathrooms, the place is clean and the stuff is really nice. Not a person during the night, really quiet. You can fit any big rig. 8.000 crc per night.

We spent 3 nights here without problems, very nice spot. We dont pay anything

The place is secured from about 6am till 6pm and a good Option to park while visiting the nationalparc which is in walking distance. We paid 5000 Colones, which, to be honest, is a bit too much for just a parking place without facilities. BUT we had nine visitors during our breakfast in the trees above :-) "Mono cariblancos" (monkeys) jumped around and we saw a "Congo" the evening before. So the same you see in the parc. The beach is good for surfing and they rent boards close by.

We paid 10,000C for two nights (discounted from $14 per night as initially requested). The Kacha BnB was closed when we were here (for 2 months) and the beach showers normally offered with camping were out of service. There was a water hose in the parking lot that the attendant offered to let us use for washing. We were told there would be security all night, but no one was there except us after about 7pm.

We stayed three nights here in our roof top tent and we felt comfortable. It's really just a parking lot but there's lots of trees and shade and of course the beach is just 10 metres away. And the beach is really nice with lots of palm trees to hang your hammocks! We were there on a weekend and expected loads of people to show up but it wasn't that bad. This side of the beach was much quieter than the other side (the side closer to the park). Joey and the other guys working at the parking lot where super nice. We paid $14 per night which wasn't cheap but it was a bargain compared to a hostel room we were ready to get.

Camped here for a night 4000 Colones. No restrooms but right in front of the beach and only a few 15 walk to Manuel Antonio National Park.
