Description

We stopped in a large car park next to touristic/ outdoor sport area for 2 nights. It was the weekend so the beach in front was rather popular with locals and their loud musical choices during they and for some time into the night. We slept fine in our car, but our friends have a roof top camper and they heard a bit more. Could be much quieter during the week. Security headquarters are a 5 minute walk down path (where you can use toilets) and they drive along the area frequently during the night. If you have a spanner you can access some showers/water at the sports area (no longer has taps). It is a short 10-15 minute walk to the main centre of town. Nice spot to camp for free.

Es seguro, pero se juntan todos los chicos de la ciudad a tomar y poner música a todo volumen. Nos fuimos al otro día a dormir al norte de la ciudad, con vistas al mar pero sin musica

During low season this is totally dark and isolated without security. We didn't feel safe and decided to sleep in the town in the front of the police station.

Tivemos uma noite bem tranquila, estacionamento grande, alguns carros com som mais nada que atrapalhou nossa noite.

There are a couple options on the south end of town around the sports complex. Parking lots and beach access. More quiet than the north end but also felt a little less secure. There are public bathrooms and showers in the public area with all the food stalls- not sure if open all week or not. .50/1 sole.

We stayed here on a Thursday night before Easter and while the parking lot itself never got full of cars, the beach in front of it was super busy with locals. No one bothered us, but the music literally went to 7AM the next morning and it was LOUD, and we have a solid camper. Would not recommend if you are a light sleeper and it's near the weekend.

Stayed here on a weeknight (granted it was during a holiday week) and the loud partying lasted until 4 AM. Felt safe but probably wouldn't camp here again due to the noise.
