Description

50m along the highway past the location we took a dirt road down towards the river (steepish but fairly smooth, easily managed by our 2WD van). Turning right off the path just before the river crossing, we found a beautiful flat area beside the river, shielded from the path by bushes and almost completely out of sight from the highway (could barely even hear the traffic). No one disturbed us at night, no dogs, and it was even more beautiful in the morning.

The access to this point is now unfortunately closed by a barrier with chain.
You can only park directly at the road, which is marked as separate point. We closed this one down at the river.

Lunch time here with view and sound of the river. The road doesn't seem so close. Some trash has around.

Manager to drive here from Ica. Its a great place, if you park your vehicle on top of the garbage what someone has recently dumped here. As the vehicle covers the trash, then its a perfect camping spot.
