Description

ADMIN NOTE: Place removed by request of owner.

This is a full service campground with all the amenities and it is right on the beach. There is another campground in town, but it was stupidly expensive. Great campground with grass, patio sites, ping pong table, fast wifi, hot showers, laundry, and steps from the beach.

We really enjoyed staying here for two nights. Big, beautiful and organized trailer park in Sayulita, I guess the best one.
20 bucks the night, and you get services. Wifi is pretty fast for this zone, and the vibes are super friendly.
The owner “Tiss” is a german old man with great energy and will tell you anything about his story, pretty interesting.
The beach is next to the park and is not crowded.

We really enjoyed our stay here! $20 (or 400 pesos) a night but great wifi, bathrooms, hook ups, steps from the beach and a quick walk to the centre of town (with plenty of food options nearby if you don’t want to venture in). The owner and manager were both friendly & easy going. Pet friendly (bur keep on a leash). Sure, the bathrooms could use some updating, but we really appreciated the ease of this place. Worth it for a convenient and relatively quiet home base in Sayulita. It’s also on the north end of the beach, which is less busy and quite beautiful. A fun adventure is hiking further north to San Pancho… after doing a taco tour through town. :)

Report Check-In

The elderly gentleman at the reception booth is incredibly happy and sweet. The location is nice. But we opted not to stay here after seeing the campgrounds in person. Spots are incredibly tight and most of the trailers appear to be long term residents (who didn’t seem thrilled to see “overlanders” rolling into their campground).

If you have a compelling reason to stop here I’d say it’s worth a visit - but as a destination I’d probably recommend a different town all together.

Report Check-In

Best camp ground in Sayulita, right on the beach. WIFI, hot showers, quiet place and just awesome location. Bit pricey for Mexico but the location justifies it.

Report Check-In

At 500Ps/n for 2 persons car camping with no hookup, this is the 3rd most expensive campsite we have been in on our 7m trip so far. In Mexico AND USA! But tbh after visiting Mexico 4y ago in 2017, we have found camping costs have typically increased 100% from US$8-12 to US$15-20. This no compares really poorly to what we were paying in the USA which was US$15-20/n. And we were free camping in USA 80-90% of the time vs just 30% of the time in Mexico because of the security situation.

Having said that this place we are at is in a superb location, great beach side tables and chairs and canopies. The wifi is intermittent, the bathrooms/showers are OK. And you can surf here a little when the tide is low. But be careful because the waves are short dumpers and there are rocks in some places. I cut my back and banged my head here.

Apart from that just watch for the usual things, rough roads, broken footpaths, mosquito diseases (zika, dengue, malaria), dodgy street food, banditos, water supply and if you're careful you'll be OK. Probably. Just don't expect a USA discount anymore, that boat has long sailed.

stayed here one night because we got into town late. location is great, right at the beach and walking distance to town. wayyyyyy overpriced though. paid 500pesos for 2 people in a camper van. wifi does not work and bathrooms are dingy and gross. I've seen worse bathrooms but for that price I'd expect more. check out the streetparking around and save your money!

Report Check-In

We really liked this place, right on the beach and walking distance from all the bars and restaurants. Bathrooms aren’t amazingly clean but that was okay. Nice vibe and beautiful sunset. Was a little noisey on Saturday as youre near a beach club but we managed. 150 pesos per person per night.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

nice place near the center, but the 2 days we stay rather noisy at night. facilities ok with hot water. only few empty spaces for small vans (6.5m), the others all occupied with long term guest's.

Report Check-In

formal campground on the beach. At the quieter end of the beach it's a beautiful location only minutes walk from "town" and plenty of shops nearby. 400peso per night is expensive for Mexico and the facilities are not great it's true, but location is perfect and the left hand site (the other half of the site is on the right of the road that leads to the beach) is the best offering a quiet and laid back vibe. The bungalows are 800 peso and are way too expensive. Don't even have ac. For a short "holiday" in a very popular and pricey beach it's pretty good. WiFi listed but not working when we were here. Big rigs can get in but not tour buses. There are outside kitchen sinks with hot water but no cooking facilities.

Report Check-In

This place is definetely still open. We are here with a truckcamper (21ft). Off season price is 20$ US. The correct name is "Sayulita Trailer Park". Sometimes it can be easier to treat people more sensitiv.

The woman doesnt want vaners anymore and asked to be deleted of Ioverlander

Report Check-In

The owner is a derenged woman, she yelled at us to leave, like we were dangerous criminals. She doesnt want vaners anymore and wants to be deleted of Ioverlander.

Report Check-In

Great location, host is very welcoming. Bathrooms are a 7/10 on the Mexican scale. Very safe and good for dogs but we can’t afford such luxury for long! $500 Pesos per night for tent camping is kind of California prices. Sweet spot though.

Report Check-In

Seems to be the only campground left in town for rigs. 500$ per night no deal for the week. We spoke to the owner who is actually very nice! Expensive but an incredible spot right in town to visit Sayulita filled with very nice people. Stayed one week

Report Check-In

Price is now $500 with or without hookup. Non-negotiable.

Report Check-In

We were asked NOT kindly to leave:
We stayed at this place for 6 nights, nice spot, right on the beach, close to surf spot and town, it's true that the facilities could use a little bit more love and also not running down of toilet paper when you pay 400 pesos/day, but over all nice. We were thinking of staying an extra week, so we ask, kindly, to Christina, the owner, if they had a price per week. I guess no: she immediately started to be rude to us by saying that we were not well educated to ask a question like that, that she was well educated because she lived in the USA and that us "French Canadian" would be always winning in french (is that racism?) She told us that people who ask that kind of question must leave NOW... so we left, with a bitter taste.

Report Check-In

Relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately the maintenance of the facilities is very poor therefore the place looks kind of run-down. The spots are small and very closed to each other. Slow wifi. Considering the price, a bit more care of the equipment would be desirable.

Report Check-In

Great location in Sayulita, right on the beach. Nice extras like the hammocks and library. It was more than I usually pay (400 pesos or $25 USD, non-negotiable), but understandable in this location. As somebody mentioned, the spaces are small, but I didn't spend much time there anyway. If you're in town this time of year, check out the baby turtle releases on the beach -- free, just show up, and it's so cool! (-:

Report Check-In

Nice place on the beach. We stayed 3 nights, 350 pesos/night. Super friendly owner and stuff. The owner arranged the best electrician in town to fix our truck camper AC. Clean bathrooms and showers. We register 3 devices to the wifi, on one phone it didn't work but the others worked fine. Only down side is that spots a very close to each other, however separate by bushes and trees.

Report Check-In

Nice campground some 30-50 meters from the beach. Spaces are small and close to each other but are separated by hedges for some privacy. Average to slow wifi, clean nice bathrooms and showers, laundry on site. Nice surf break for beginners. Problem with sewage from Sayulita spilling into the ocean. Went with the intention to stay a few days ended up staying a month and a half.

Report Check-In

This place is nice for a few days like said before. The manager Paco is nice. The bathrooms are clean. The beach is just in front. The issue about internet is annoying since you hace to give your pc to the manager so he can put a code or something. They charge us 45usd because a 5yo kid. Really expensive. Our camping area was ok but for the price it could have been in better shape. Is some one is interest there is a couple that rent house around 700 pesos (we paid 600pesos in the camping :()I didn't see it but they were very friendly. They are the owners of sushi sayulita. Next time

Report Check-In

Pretty nice place. Good showers and bathrooms. Lots of shade. Wifi unreliable during our stay but was reasonably fast when it did work. If you're a digital nomad, Sayulita cowork is nearby and a great place to connect and get some work done.

Report Check-In

Campground next to the beach. The campground is very clean but a little bit run down, but we were there out of season. All spots with full hook up, but not really spacy, our 25feet Motorhome just fits in. Clean bathrooms with warm showers. The wifi was fast and the guy registrated all our devices in a short time. When we were there, there was a lot of rain, so we can't swim but otherwise it is a very nice place to spend time with swimming and surfing.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend a few days! Thies is super friendly and may even give you some advice - local AND life. Right in the beach with the best ceviche. Good bathrooms and common areas. Just watch weekends as it may get a bit hectic during the night next door at Sayulita Surf Club.

Report Check-In

Alright for an overpriced surf town. New low season prices 300pesos per site up to two ppl. Additional ppl 150 per person Pros: On the beach. There is a break out front that is not the break they are giving lessons on. Mostly quite from people inside the establishment. Clean. Dogs ok. Big book trade library. Really Shady. When swell is non existent good swimming and fishing. This end of beach has WAY less people at it. Lots of water at each site, great to catch up on laundry.
Cons: Expensive for camping.Internet is ok. Your device has to be registered and that can take the manager some time if he has better things to do. Was a day and a half before I got on. Owners turned internet off due to storm and in general every night. Was a bummer when we were 25% away from finishing uploading a file that took hours to accomplish that much and they turned the internet off. I had to ask every morning to have it turned back on. Dogs on leash.
Town and grocery's are overpriced too. stock up before heading in. Beer can be found at ok prices. Lots of party noise from that other camp ground. Shady, our solar is not on our rig, but we were moving it into sun spots non stop and barely got enough power to run our fan.
Over all this is still probably the nicest for the price option in Sayulita!

Report Check-In

Very easy to see how people get stuck here for weeks! Great beachfront location with walking to everything in town. $25/night with wifi, laundry, hot showers, library, etc

Report Check-In

Staff was willing to drop the price to 300M$ per night for 2p and a car, but later on the owner insisted on 400M$ (during low season), even though there was a party that night that would be very loud until 4 o'clock in the morning. Very unfriendly owner, when we asked for the price he said 'when you have to ask for the price you probably can't afford it. This is not a youth hostel.' Besides that, it is a great spot on the beach, so if you are willing to pay 400 it is fine.

$25 US dollars for truck/pop up camper..we came in Fri late afternoon and were lucky to get a place...bathrooms were nice and clean with hot showers..restaurant nxt to office has great seafood. and big screen TV to watch football...beach is steps away...and you can walk to main town area with many different shops..small tiendas nearby sell frutas and vegetables...very memorable stay also I think the name changed to sayulita trailer park and bungalows....

Report Check-In

Really nice owner. A little expensive but the campsite was full. You can easily walk into town and enjoy the atmosphere.

Report Check-In

very nice owner and lovely spot on the beach. we got the last spot. a little pricy but it is high season. 400 pesos. lots of hot water. clean bathroom. nice chairs on patio facing beach.

Report Check-In

This is an RV camp with bungalows to rent. The owner/manager is extremely helpful and accomodating. The spots are $25 USD - so we got 1 spot for 2 tents and shared the fee. Spots have wifi and electricity. There's a small library and tv room, a table tennis. Hot showers and proper washrooms, which are cleaned every morning. Right by the beach and ocean. If you share the spot fee, I believe this is way cheaper than hostels around.

Report Check-In

Great spot, was 250 pesos a night during the low season. Includes hookups and facilities. Right on the beach, much better than Camaron's which is next door and almost as expensive with a lot less going on. Friendly owner and employees, great spot all around

Report Check-In

Fantastic place, maybe the best camping we've had. We paid 250 pesos per night for a full hook up site in May, but it's more expensive in the high season (I guess summer?) Very friendly staff and owners, nice town, great surf for beginners, can see the break from the campsite. Some noise from nearby bars on the weekend, but nothing crazy.

Report Check-In

Great facility, location and people but it was expensive. Price went up Jan 01 2015 and we paid 400 pesos/night.

PROS: beautiful resort-style RV park, right on the beach on the north side of town, electric and water hookups, laundry area – CONS: filthy bathrooms, wifi never really worked, expensive for what we got (if the bathrooms we actually cleaned, ever, the price probably wouldn’t have seemed so high) – 250 pesos/night until November 15, then 24 dollars/night
