Description

As you come south on the main road, you will start to see signs for this place just after the military checkpoint. It's based in a family property next to their house. You pitch a tent for $100 pesos a night, and you can stay for as long as you want to. Their hospitality is tremendous, and they will let you use every part of their house if you want to. Free Wi-Fi and hot showers, and $20 for using the washing machine. They even make food and sell sodas here!
Perfect place for bikers and bicyclists. Highly recommended.

What a nice secure place with a great host! Located in a quiet unpaved small street. 100 pesos per night. Warm shower, clean restroom, sink, fridge and possibility for laundry. Shop near by. Highly recommend to stay here.

Cool place! The owners are really nice, it's in a calm neighborhood.
If you're cycling Baja, it's a nice stop.
WiFi, hot shower.
Laundry is now 60 pesos.
100 pesos per person/night.
Lots of cats indeed, they're quite lovely.
Oh and we could make a fire to grill food!

Report Check-In

Space for 3-4 tents in a yard beside a house with a couple tables, sink, and outdoor accessible bathroom and shower. Downsides are about a dozen cats that will get in anything and steal your food. Also there is a very high chance they will piss on your tent (they did on ours and multiple friends we were with). Would not recommend personally for stress of watching them and effort of cleaning up.

Great place for cyclists, still 100 pesos (+ 60 pesos if you want to do laundry). Free WiFi and hot shower included. When I turned up there was no one there, so I messaged the page on Facebook and was told I could go in through the gate and set up no problem, but thought it was polite to ask first. Lots of friendly cats which kept trying to hide under my tent, so watch out for that! You might be able to squeeze a small campervan in here, but the whole place is mainly aimed at cyclists to be honest.

Super endroit que je recommande vivement : hôtes très gentils et accueillants, possibilité de rencontrer d'autres voyageurs, plein de chats. Je suis venue avec mon fils et nous avons passé un très bon moment.
Possibilité de faire une machine à laver

Welcoming, but wanted to charge us $200 to park our vw van on the street outside. Seemed very expensive for a poor location, despite showers, WiFi etc. Ended up staying at Los Petates instead. Probably much better deal if are on a bike.

I'm it a cyclist, but slept in my tent there for $100 a night. very nice and quiet, WiFi is God,hit shower and electricity. Fair price for the offer.

gas station and shops nearby.

Great family-run place. Super lovely people. Not just for cyclists but available to anyone on the road. Everything is as described. Just be careful of the cats, I woke in the middle of the night to a disgusting stench in my tent. 1 or more cats had peed on the outside.

We arrived and there was no one there. About an hour later a couple on bicycles that was staying there showed up and called the owner for us. We are in our camper van so we didn’t just want to park behind their gate without permission. The owner said no problem and charge was 100pesos for our van + 2 of us. We parked and the family arrived back around 9:30pm. We introduced ourselves and paid. Super nice. Very warm shower. Recommend

La Casa del Ciclista is still a great spot for cyclists. We travel in a VW van and were very welcome too. Paid 100 pesos for the van, two people included. The owner is a very nice guy. Internet is OK. Recommended.

100p a night. Tent camped with motorcycle. All very friendly. OK wifi, OK showers. Nice and quiet. Plenty of flies and mozzys to keep you company. I think their restaurant re-opened on the 13th Jan 2018

tried to stay here with our 4runner but the drop from the road through the gate looked too much and no one around to check it would be ok. facilities looked good. Did not stay.

no, no, Not camper vans. Just one, a small one would fit next to the house. We didn't fit and went.

Charming small tent camping location. Great amenities, location and price. 100 pesos p/ night. Small location provides privacy and sometimes sole use of shower/bathroom. Hosts enjoy having any type of camper even without bikes. I really enjoyed the many seating and areas under the shade of tees and umbrellas. Small details like a seat and multiple hanger in the bathroom. Wifi was good. They have a restaurant nearby now and no longer sell food or drinks. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a night with our camper. Everything under 20ft should be ok... there's not really much space. Payed 100/night as well. Nice place to meet people. Very friendly.
