This place has seen better days, for sure. Still ok to camp, and no issues during our stay. Some rock climbers and cows during the day, very quiet over night. No running water however, so the toilets are the worst we have ever seen. Trash cans laying on their sides, and the trail is overgrown and no longer useable. Sad to be honest. Maybe it gets cleaned up at some point as it could be a great little local park. Still 3G Claro service.

We stayed two nights. It’s nothing really special, when your not into climbing, but it was peaceful and the wall was nice to watch. It was a weekend and a few local climbers were around. Also a lot of people, who took their dogs for walk or let their kids cycling. The area (parking lot and climbing area) has lights during the night. The toilets and the water isn’t working. I changed the description to ‚„No“.

Got here around 3 in the afternoon. No one really around except a few locals walking by. Quiet night, water faucets worked and although not in the best condition, the toilets did function as intended. I recommend for those passing by.

We spend a really cool night here ! Super quiet!!! and fresh during the night (coming from the Amazon we really appreciate 😜) The toilets we're so disgusting that we prefer to dig and go in the forest. Security camera in this spot. We love this place!! Also must be paradise for rock climbing! Good 4g claro

Can confirm previous comments. Spent a quiet, safe and rainy night. Excellent spot to pass the night.

Nice, quiet and safe place, lot of space for RV. We asked the guards of the hydroelectric plant on the other side of the river and they told us that there is a monitored CCTV. Quiet night lulled by the sound of the river. short, easy and enjoyable hike.

Toilets are disgusting now. No water anywhere. But otherwise still a good and peaceful stop if you have your own toilet on board.

Parking lot next to huge wall (for the climbers), water taps, bathrooms with flushed toilets, courtesy of the power company that operates the hydroelectric plant down the road. (And, after dark, some of their electricity is used to LED light the place, including the climbing wall, maybe a bit too bright.)

Lots of climbers, hikers and local people hanging out during Saturday and Sunday. Had three quiet nights, even though it's the week-end. Left on Monday to enjoy the thermal baths up the mountain.

Good spot for the night. Lots of people coming and going during the holidays taking advantage of the climbing walls.
Some nice trails to hike around, but very muddy when we were here. Basic flush toilets and a water tap for washing dishes. We had a quiet night here with some other local tent campers. Recommended!

Excelente lugar para pasar el día y la noche, es gratuito, y tiene baños, área de camping, agua, lugar para hacer fuego. Un gran paredón para escalar. Realmente un buen lugar al lado del Río no se puede pedir mas!!!

We didn't want to spend the night at 3000 m as we were coming from sea level so we going to spend the night here. Seems quiet and nice enough.

It is a great place to stay. Quiet, nice scenery, hut, water, facilities - all for free. At weekend a lot of climbers showed up, but not a single bumbum car disturbed the peace.
