We didn’t stay the night (way too windy) but just to note, in July, durin whale season, the parking lot here fills with tour busses and dozens and dozens of people by sunrise (8:30 or so)

Very quiet place, we spent a night here and it was perfect, the scenery is wonderful. Beautiful sunset and sunrise, we took a night almost no wind so it was spectacular wild camping.

We came there at night so be warned that you cant really see where you park, unless you use your car lights.
Not a windy night, a very bright morning on cliffs, nice place to have breakfast or start your journey to peninsula Valdés.

Awesome place with easy access to the beach. You can find some more wind-sheltered places there as well.

Drove all along the coast from Puerto Madryn to here and definitely the best spot for us. Stayed 5 days/4nights and couldn't dream pf a better place.
We saw around 10 to 20 whales from close to far and every day.
Even more for the sunrise (did it twice) it's absolutely delightful and the babies are jumping way more than during the day (woke up at around 6.30am).
Perfect view from both side. Take a walk on the beaches, especially the one on to the right (looking at the ocean) we saw sea lions there and two whale from very very close that you could almost swim with them.

Don't stay at the first carpark so go a little bit further on the cliff (maybe not if it rain)

Windy some hours but not that bad.

Only 6km of gravel road after to take the concrete road to peninsula or 35/40km gravel road to PM along the coast

Great place! To get a lot more beautiful than at the beach. Chance of visitors but otherwise completely alone.

the posted coordinates are for the very tip of the cliff, after the (somewhat) marked parking area. I would *not* try going this far except with high clearance and preferably 4x4 and in a small rig: the way is deeply holed, unlevel and narrow. Better to stay back at the parking area at -42.592869,-64.811374. PS: except for a trashcan, no services and absolutely no wind protection, with a strong gale blowing continuously from the South.

Beautiful and a nice change of view... cliffs overlooking the wetlands to the left and the blue bay to the right. Around sunset the wind kicked up so much that the ladder to our roof top tent was lifting off the ground and one of the poles from the tent flew off. We packed up and had to stay in a hostel. Would be great had we not needed a tent. Enjoy!

really a nice place, windy and wild. A fantastic view and quite good internet. a bottle of wine is highly recomendet.

A great place appart from the beach, at the top of the cliff, which provides a good overview. Less whales compare to Canteras, but less crowded.

The place is beautiful. There are a lot of places arond. Don‘t worry, the Street isn‘t sleepery, it is a good ripio.

Don‘t drive on the beach !!!

The road is slow for 4 km but the place is beautiful ! It is ok with a motorhome ford transit challenger.

Whaaales! <3 It's a rainy day but here they are. The dirt road was muddy and really slipy but we made it with our VW t2.

Toller Platz an den Klippen. Toller Ausblick über die Bucht zwischen Puerto Madryn und Puerto Piramides mit fantastischem Sonnenuntergang. Hoffentlich kommen die Waale morgen.

No whales in the beginning of Nov, but still a nice spot. Was warm and quiet in the evening, but wind pick up at night. Some fishermen arrived at midnight and a few families next morning (Sunday) to fish and make asados. But it was still ok. There are many stops among the road where you can park and camp.

Priceless spot with a perfect view down to the wales (at the right time of the year only). We stayed a little bit behind some bushes to get a bit wind protection. Bring all what you need with you ;-) !
