Good place to overnight if you dont want to stay at costly rv camps at gran canyon! No services, but free. We stayed for 2 nights. About 4 other overlanders also camping. Felt very safe. About one mile before entering gran canyon just of main road 200 meters.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Still closed. More spots have the "no camp" sign. Just drive a bit further.
Report Check-InNice, legal, free, mostly level, partly sunny. Very big rigs might wanna walk in first. Couple of spots, but might fill up.
Report Check-InThe place at this location is closed, but there's two spaces more in the same side of the road.
Report Check-InCouple of spots with fireplaces along the dirt forest road. Very convenient while visiting Grand Canyon South Rim. No amenities, quiet, some even good for trailers or big rigs
Report Check-InThe first places with fire rings are closed but you can still find some spots. Not as quite as the place near east entrance but okay.
Report Check-InFree place to camp very close to the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. There were many other campers (in campervans and tents) when we were there but plenty of space for all. We explored the park during the day and returned here to camp at night. Stayed 2 nights. No facilities but clean and quiet.
Report Check-InPretty quite. Great pity that other people decide to leave the rubbish for the next visitors, incl 2 wheels. Fire pits nearly everywhere. Alright for one night.
Report Check-Ingreat spot as described. we stayed a little bit further down the road with a 24 and 33ft RV. we had enough space to turn the rigs around
Report Check-InGood spot, quiet. A few people were camping along the road but far enough to have full privacy.
