Description

MODERATOR NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals.

Down an earth track off the end of the road you can get onto the beach with many areas and spaces for stopping. Sand and pebble beach with some grass and machair close to the base if the cliff. More sheltered than the top of the cliff. 4x4 needed for the last 100 m.

Beautiful spot, very peaceful. Road down is a bit difficult but was doable with two wheel drive and high clearance.

Report Check-In

We camped on top of the cliff as it was very windy and offered more shelter than right on the beach, lots of firewood on top, and plenty of leveled grassy areas with great views. We didn’t see anybody. Some cow cakes around.

Wonderful place... Although the last 100m are really bad, we did it without 4x4 (we have a basic 2WD Chevrolet N300 van). Huge grey sand beach with green and yellow grass, very quiet, we stayed 24h and didn’t see any human around, only hear the sound of wave and birds... almost no trash, and of course wonderful view over islands, coast and ocean...

Grat place. Almost perfect: empty, spacious, with nice views. As always some rubbish around. Moreover, be aware of dead animals (cow) below the cliff.

Absolutely beautiful. We stayed one night, nobody was there beside us and some dolphins in the morning :-)

Report Check-In

Very nice place. We were one night and it was totally quiet and nobody somewhere around. The way down to a beautiful grassy place should be no problem with high ground clearance without 4x4. continue on the Beach 4x4 of course.

Nice, very private spot.
Turn off road at S41 49.113 W73 40.914 Wander back on what looks like farm lane pax..5km(ish). Turn off to left and down to beach. Might be 4x4 down/up in wet weather.

Great view, great sunset. Unfortunately access during the last 100 m steep and washed out. Good for big rigs up to 7.5 t and 2.3 m width. Fast mobile internet.
