Report Check-InThis is a fantastic, quiet, mystical and underused campground. Hardly anybody knows it exists and although this is fine for some of us who have been coming here for more than 35 years, the word must get out so that it continues to welcome guests. The sites are rustic but very accessible. The favourite sites are # 1 thru # 14 as these are right on Lake Huron, the Mississagi Strait. They are unserviced with the exception of 15 amp service for # 8, 9 and 10. There a few sites that have their own 15 amp service and water hookups but no sewer hookups or dumping station on site. This is an "off the grid" campground with very limited cell service, but that's it beauty. The campground is run on a seasonal basis by "Maddie" and her family and friends. Dogs allowed on leash. Boat launching is available. Water is potable. Shower and washroom on site.. Flat, clean sites will accommodate any style of camping from tents to 40 ft motorhomes. The prices are $30 per night and $40 for electrical. This place is quiet, clean and guaranteed to make you want to return time after time, Fishing is really good and I've caught Lake Trout right from the shore. The Lighthouse is fully operational guiding boaters 24 / 7 all year long. There is a common room in the Fog Horn building that makes the rare rainy day very enjoyable. I've been here twice already this year and may go a third time if I can swing it. Enjoy!
Report Check-InVery sweet place. When we came it was run by a student who really care. There is a common room with kitchen and with table tennis. A lot of nice views. We highly recommend this place. Prices are 25 $ Non-Electric, 35 $ Electric
