Ecuador
Awesome place to discover how they fabric the famous Panama hat and buy it. They have a lot of choice (more than the other shop Omero Ortega). You can even ask to custom your hat. Need two days for a customise request.
They also have a nice coffee place with a viewpoint on the city. They offer you a coffee/tea if you buy a hat. Wifi too. At the entrance there is a small museum.
Monday-friday: 9am-6pm
Saturday: 9h30am-5pm
Sunday: 9h30am-1h30pm
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Lovely little free museum/ shop to wander through. Hats seem to start from $42 and go higher quickly.
Report Check-Invery nice place to know how they make hat and buy one. visit in french. choose your hat they can change size without problems
Report Check-InAlso tour in french when we were. Effectively you have to ask. They made a hat for us in 30 min. You can take foto or video. It's very cool. We order a 42 nodes hat for 60 $. First price around 30$.
Report Check-InThe tour is nice but you have to ask for it. Nobody would bother to offer it to you.
Overall it’s more a hat shop than a museum.
nice little free tour available in Spanish or English. at the back they have the mirador and cafe.
hats start at around 30$
