Description
A charming Safari type lodge perched on a beautiful, remote setting right on the banks of the Tana River. Located just outside the Sala Gate to Tsavo East National Park at the very confluence of the C103 Road from Malindi, the Tsavo East National Park and the Tana River. Magnificent view of the river and the dry country side. Easy game viewing of the wild animals coming up to the riverside. They have both cottage type and permanent tent accommodation. Simple and clean with netting on all windows to keep the bugs out. We paid the equivalent of $110 for the cottage right on the raised river bank and this is full board rate. A stone throw away from the Sala Gate to Tsavo so you don't have to pay the park entry fee unless you go on a game drive.
